All Hindus should vote for BJP. How Muslims and Christians unite and declare to defeat the BJP, all the Hindus irrespective their misgivings should vote enmasse BJP so that in future elections the so-called secular parties will run behind us and stop appeasing the minorities.

Congress is best placed to rule the nation. It is nothing to do with my personal choice but by the fact that most regional outfits as well as the Third Front constituents, will not support the BJP

If the BJP shuns its right wing avatar, it will rule India for many many years. Amazing that they do not realise this simple fact.

It has been proven when Vajpayee was the leader of the BJP. The whole country was with him, but the moment he is gone, no one trusts the right wing.

The author brings up good points though. Forget about congress, but L.K.Advani should have articulated center-right vision than being tactical. But then Indian voters are stupid in general you can't entirely blame Advani. Case in point is the voter turnout among middle class and the loss of BJP power last time despite great leadership from Vajpayee.

Today whole world is expecting India to lead the world in all fronts but we have youth and old at large who does not know the meaning of democracy constitution and integrity. Being educated learning about constitution and consequences youth want to vote some anti social element including some goonda, poojari, mulla , padri, or akahali takht head. i feel it is time for youth protect the interest of the country. one of the good friends in the discussion board has mentioned the policies of BJP, i feel they dont have any policies or any intellectual to administer the nation. in the end of their term they will ignite another communal issue and say india is shining. congress has to take bold steps reduce corruption, increase transparency and want to see india really shine and in another 10 years down the lane i want every one in the world to line up at indian counsaltes for india visit visas.

by Me Communal on Apr 25, 2009 10:16 AM  | Hide replies

this time it is arithmatic calculations, as if it was not last time. Again author says congress won last time, it won by default becauase NDAs allies naidu and jayalalitha lost elections. There are not more then about fifteen seats difference between BJP and congress. their calculation wroked last time and congress did not gain by renounciation drama, but slept with commies. So sad this author again says nonsense about Varun's CD. even now no one has complete picture. these guys want to just be politically correct like the brown sahibs under british. what hapenned we were ruled for hundreds of years loosing the identity called Bharateeya. now again time has come if we listen to these haf baked authors then gone, what ever is left will be gone.
I have confidence in My Motherland Bharath which whill produce more ov Vivekanandas to enlighten us. I dont know when.
after writing articles please read coments there are many people who dont take ur jaundiced views and can debate and say u r wrong.

well said sir. It is a wonder how all the 'seemingly intelligent' individuals speak nonsense and pain black on anything to do with BJP. Now, apparantly the wind has started blowing in favour of "communal"(?????) BJP and in the coming weeks one can see all the chameleons (including the Burkhas, Sardesais, et. al) changing colours and peaning the worthiness of the new incumbants.

Put a stop to this jugglery
by n krishnan on Apr 25, 2009 09:52 AM

Today's election system, we find that it is not the Political Parties which are contesting. It is the individuals, with lots of black money stashed, earned through illegal process, buying votes. The strongest Politician dictates the terms of the Political Parties. Political parties are created by Individual( CRIMINALS, FILMSTARS ....). Political Parties dont contest on their policies.

LET US NOW CHANGE. Let their be democracy at the micro level. Nominate Leaders who work at the grassroot level. These nominated leaders should elect the Team at the Centre who will formulate the policies. Let the democracy be system driven rather than person driven. Have a maximum of three parties with clear ideologies and abolish the others.

Sonia and Advani should display statesmanship, keep personal animosities aside and decide to shake hands and share power at the centre.
Each one should rule for 2.5 years with the party with more numbers getting first chance.
This will be in the interest of the country and will keep all greedy politicians of the various fronts from sucking the blood of the honest tax payers and the hapless poor.

Yes Vivek, This will really in favor of India...
It will the desires and plans of all other parties and politicians...
Only the national parties should rule at the centre... There will not be any scope of regional parties at the centre.
If theses politicians really cares for India , BJP and Congress should shake hands.
