Why Indians are QUITTING only Hinduism and not other religions?
by New York on Apr 24, 2009 07:05 AM  | Hide replies

Hinduism is a COVERT mask for Casteism which intrinsically seeds HATRED in your Children (e.g.Varun Gandhi).

Hinduism's is a hierarchical (not groups) based irrational system of keeping one CASTE (Brahmins?) over everyone else.

In America there is no system in place today that forces people to remain separate or keeps one class subservient to another.
If you were born the son of a street sweeper, but excelled, you could become a doctor or lawyer or some celebrity or entrepreneur - and at the same time you would be fully accepted by your peers.

Not so in India. The caste system freezes everyone in place. It is extremely difficult - almost impossible - for someone from the lowest caste to rise in education and social status.

A Dalit would never be allowed to marry into one of the higher castes and would never be accepted as an equal.
And for a Dalit to make it into MEDICAL school or opening a RESTAURANT or become a PRIEST in a temple or become a member of high SOCIETY in India is very rare indeed.

Only by escaping from the grasp of Hinduism do they have much of a chance.

Till then the SOLUTION is you must only vote for candidates from your CASTE till 85% of all registered marriages in India are INTER-CASTE or INTER-FAITH.

The argument is lop sided and biased. Yes, there are still some weeknesses in the society but people from all castes are having oppurtunity to study and choose the path he/she may wnat to pursue. (only exception may be a priest in temples.

Running down the religion of Hinduism is inappropriate.

Naveen's support
by Madhu on Apr 23, 2009 09:49 PM  | Hide replies

Mr Naveen we all thought was well educated and a very decent person who will not be acting like a regular politician. But we are very disappointed with his latest turn taken by him. if he sincerly belives that what ever he says people accept, he is totally mistaken. the one & only reason for him to break off the relations with BJP is his greed to get more seats in Orrisa. today he is talking as if there was a ideological reasons for the stand. Mr Patnaik, you can fool all the people for one time but you cannot fool all the people all the times. Trust you will understand it on 16th may 09, but that would be too late.

Naveen Patnaik stabbed BJP in the back and is therefore a traitor! The people of Orissa will teach him a lesson, just as Kumaraswamy and his JD(S) was taught in Karnataka. Patnaik's confidante Mohapatra is a Congie/christist stooge.

System

I wonder how the democratic system in India would handle the situation where no single alliance wins enough to form a govt? I think the last party that joins an alliance that is likely to form the govt benefits the most.

Please do not follow one rule for Congress and another rule for others. The Central Govt announced salary rise for Defence Elite yesterday. Is it not the wrong timing?

He is so great that he kept quiet when Swamiji was brutally murdered and not a single politician condemned that act and now just before elections he snaps ties with BJP and says all this is because of Kandhamal.

That is the result of the Congress' brand of 'secularism', which is based on hypocrisy and votebank politics. Other totally hypocritical politicians follow the same policy. These politicians deserve the worst in life!

Ground reality is that BJD is in very bad shape in orissa after the divorce.

Delimitation adds a lil' more worry to it. It seem BJDs tally will surly go down, as compared to last tally.

This gamble of Mr.Pattanaik, seems will benefit his enemy at his own cost- either bjp or cong

Naveen Patnaik, if you are honest please do this.
by kesireddy sreedhar on Apr 23, 2009 03:44 PM  | Hide replies

Naveen Patnaik should not take the support nor he should support the BJP or Congress. Similarly he should not support third front nor any other front which may try to form the govt by taking the support from either BJP or Congress.

Let him take 'sanyas' and do penance for the killing of Swamiji and his disciples. That is the idea of the wily Mohapatra, who wants to usurp the post of Patnaik.
