Friends, please vote

All of us who are scheduled to vote in the 3 rd phase of the elections must make it a point to exercise our franchise. The second phase saw a meagre 55% polling. If this continues to occur, we willl never get the government we want, and there is then no use in blaming those who get elected, even if we do not want to see them as our representatives, because of our own apathy. If we do not take up the initiative of exercising our franchise, then who rule us are more likely than not to be people who we do not want.

He has divided the country by playing reservation card, he will be a patient like VP singh throuh out his life.

He had destroyed the entire NCERT syllabus. THe CBSE standard has totally come down thanx to him. A fifth class text book of EVS is same as any state syllabus of a 2nd class text book such is the sub standard level that he had brought.

It is strange interpretation (rather foolish) of belonging to one's party as the guaranteed seats for their wards and family members down the line, after their departure from live politics. The Nehrus are displaying this sickness all around and effecting other politicians too. This year we can see a lot such cases. I think in politics also there should be quota system to encourage new comers. I think this kind of language is better understood by these so called seasoned politicians.

You guys have totally lost it.. it will be a big surprise if you guys get elected to power... Even here in a small state like Goa you have decided to confuse the already confused voter by fighting amongst yourselves...

At this point in time more than anything else i dont think India is ready for a confused Govt...

I am a congress supporter... have always been, just that the recent going ons have completely disgusted me....

Dynastic Rule
by sanath on Apr 24, 2009 10:12 AM  | Hide replies

How is it possible that these politicians and their kids talk openly as if they have inherited the right to rule and we keep quiet ? Earlier we had Munde recommending Poonam Mahajan becoz her father was a BJP bigshot, which almost sounded like a child getting the job if the father dies in harness.

Here this dame talks as if her father being in politics for 52 years has automatically earned her a right to rule us ! and if that is not enough, she quotes her credentials like cooking food for Indira Gandhi, and "seeing the spark" in Rajiv Gandhi et al....what rubbish !

The politician thinks that they are rulers... unfortunately we the citizens help them believe that what they think is right...

It is time we reminded the arseholes, that we have elected them because we dont have the time to look after our families and run the country also... we choose these idiots and pay them... (Far too much i would like to add)... to run the country, if they dont have the qualifications to do this JOB i think it is high time they resign....

If you agree with me i request you to please say a prayer for our country and end it by saying "Jai Hind"

Just read the quote "My association with politics is by blood." So how was monarchy worse than the so-called democracy ?

Kegacy of Arjun Singh
by Rajesh Vyas on Apr 24, 2009 10:08 AM

Arjun Singh's legacy is being a CHAMCHA of the Gandhi Family and giving them undue and bloated importance. Another legacy of Arjun Singh is divide and Rule which of course is the original Congress Legacy. One wonders What is his CONTRIBUTION TO PUBLIC LIFE besides being a sycophant of the Gandhi Family and propping up Rahul's claim for PM.
