KBG has conceded defeat
by Manjunath Srikantiah on Apr 24, 2009 12:21 AM

By asking for repoll in Bangalore South,KBG has conceded that he is a loser.
Complaints of some people's names not being there in the electoral list have been there even in BJP dominated areas. That does not mean that there should be a repoll.

Even before the counting begins,Congress 1 wicket down in Bangalore.Ananth a clear Winner.

Bangalore North is going to be D B Chandre Gowda and 1 more wicket down for Congress.

Sangliana is going to be in the 3rd spot in Bangalore Central and one more wicket down for Congress.

Why Indians are QUITTING only Hinduism and not other religions?
by New York on Apr 23, 2009 08:55 PM

Hinduism is a COVERT mask for Casteism which intrinsically seeds HATRED in your Children (e.g.Varun Gandhi).

Hinduism's is a hierarchical (not groups) based irrational system of keeping one CASTE (Brahmins?) over everyone else.

In America there is no system in place today that forces people to remain separate or keeps one class subservient to another.
If you were born the son of a street sweeper, but excelled, you could become a doctor or lawyer or some celebrity or entrepreneur - and at the same time you would be fully accepted by your peers.

Not so in India. The caste system freezes everyone in place. It is extremely difficult - almost impossible - for someone from the lowest caste to rise in education and social status.

A Dalit would never be allowed to marry into one of the higher castes and would never be accepted as an equal.
And for a Dalit to make it into MEDICAL school or opening a RESTAURANT or become a PRIEST in a temple or become a member of high SOCIETY in India is very rare indeed.

Only by escaping from the grasp of Hinduism do they have much of a chance.
Till then the SOLUTION is you must only vote for candidates from your CASTE till 85% of all registered marriages in India are INTER-CASTE or INTER-FAITH.

Vote for Congress OR for your Caste.
by New York on Apr 23, 2009 08:54 PM

BJP lacks both competencies and conviction to govern a culturally and socio-economically DIVERSE society like India.
* Advani injected VENOM in certain sections of Indian society.
* Voting for Advani is equal to voting for dis-integration of India.
And,
* You must vote for your CASTE till 85% of all registered marriages in India are INTER-CASTE or INTER-FAITH.
* Only he can UNDERSTAND your culture and IMPROVE your socio-economic status.

This is the only way to STOP dis-integration of India.

Informed decision
by wellwisher on Apr 23, 2009 04:21 PM  | Hide replies

is not possible until you know the hidden and ugly realities regarding top congress leadership.
Do a google search: Nehru-Gandhi dynasty, or, do you know Sonia, for startling facts that they have hidden from the public and that they can not challenge.
Get rid of liars and hypocrites, save your motherland.

Kekda,

Do you have something called 'brain' in your head. Swiss government had offered to disclose identity of depositers only recently, after a lot of efforts from other western country, mainly the US. Prior to that they kept absolute confidentiality in matters of deposits. You are a brainless man, there is no need for any other proof, as anyone remotely knowing the banking practice know, why rich people have been preferring swiss bank for their confidential/black money deposits, which unfortuantely you do not know. Itis surprising with that kind of limited knowledge, you have unashamedly come to this forum for debate. Get lost!

Congress???
by rohit Rj on Apr 23, 2009 03:24 PM  | Hide replies

Congress is having sleepless nights, after Advani has declared that he will bring back the black money from Switzerland, they have gone mad, it is the matter of fact that congress is mostly responsible for the poverty of the country, they never talk development issues, take the case of Amethi, there r lot of poor people in so called congress constituency, look at Gujrat where BJP ruled for only 7-8 years and where it is standing now, the obvious choice for voters is to vote for BJP. We want change in India, which this congress govt. can never provide. Vote for BJP.

What about the NDA's infamous record of opening the 'Mauritius route' for flight of illegal Indian money to tax havens abroad ??

Are you aware of this sweet little act of the BJP led NDA ??

Or, are you just as ignorant of it as most voters are (as Advani has correctly concluded) ?

And, in terms of black money, do you really believe that there is anything to differentiate between the Congress and the BJP ? Has not the BJP's record vis-a-vis high corruption been as equally colourful as that of the Congress ?

And now at the time of the election, Mr. Advani, desperate for issues to try and boost the flagging morale of his party workers, has begun to harp on this theme and be bold enough to actually proclaim that he will cut the very branch that supports most political parties INCLUDING HIS OWN PARTY, THE BJP !!!

Talk of double talk and cynical regard for the commoner's powers of understanding !!

The Mauritius route is an inward route for recycling black money, just as Hong Kong is for China. For outward flows, it has the same status as any other tax haven.

The Mauritius route was primarily used to pump in equity funding at very low cost to artificially boost up the stock markets.

And it was the NDA that brought about this 'special' arrangement to take out the super profits resulting from this without suffering any capital gains tax !

No need to educate anyone of Mauritious route. That is officially sanctioned route, to promote forein investment. Government also offer many tax saiving methods to resident indians too like investment in LIC, Mutual Fund, purchase of premises (interest on banks loans are exempted from tax and principal amount too upto 1.5 lakhs, PPF etc. etc. You cannot say, government is promoting tax evasion by these methods.

Go and read both FERA and FEMA Acts, Banking regulation act, etc. and then speak.

Read my post once again, this time a trifle slower to account for your sluggish power of understanding.

I talked primarily about how the Mauritius route was allowed by the NDA to be used as a safe means of bringing in equity funds at very low cost to send the stock market booming and then how the same route was used to take back the super profits and thus leave the common investors in the lurch.

Yes, read a bit slower before trying to spring at an 'opportunity' to drop the names of regulations that you appear to think no one else might have heard about !

By the way, can you tell us whether you have actually read all the clauses of the FERA/FEMA ??
