Cheating Politicians can attract even more people! Attracting so many moronic people does not make him God!
Listen to his speeches and then decide if he his calling himself God or not! He should tell people not to call him God instead of enjoying his adopted surname "Bhagavan"!
Yes, God is in everyone of us but that does not make us God!
Sri Krishna tells in Bhagavad Gita that he is in everyone but also he is independent!
The real gurus are people who enlighten us about Sriman Narayana and Sri Sada Shiva. They talk about Vedas and other scriptures. They tell you who God really is!!! They never call themselves as God! Some examples: Sri Adi Sankaracharya, Sri Ramanujacharya, Sri Madhvacharya, etc. and the present acharyas of different mutts/ashrams.
These Babas talk nothing else except making others believe them as Gods!

I have a slightly different belief, but not highly different from our scriptures. I believe that there is no separate god. Each particle in the universe to its smallest element is God in itself. People who realize that become one with God.

Atma and Paramatma are separate although Atma comes from Paramatma! Atma will unite with Paramatma after it attains Moksha! This is the ultimate truth in our scriptures! Sri Krisha, in Bhagavad Gita, says that he is in everyone but he is independent too!

He is the Bija and we all belong to him. Atma and Paramatma are separate. But, when Atma joins Paramatama, then there is only one!

Shirdi Sai baba was a genuine saint. He never had people build palaces for him. Unfortunately, some others are misusing his name.

After a person reaches super conscious state, they express in different ways for us to relate to their experience... out of their pure compassion.
Some talk, some do not talk, some explode, some hide ... it is upto them.
No one should judge others and also follow any one without their experience. This is the one and only solution. Both self ignorance and showing sympothy for other's ignorance does not help.

He hasnt even built schools for people and hospitals for the poor for free treatment unlike satya sai baba.
I am fond of Gita and Hindu scriptures. I like scholars who have read them and teach them to people so that we know what our religion is and to lead a conflict free life. But these sai Babas and the woman called as Amma are for the gullible. But one thing in their favor is they are able to collect money for good public causes.
No matter whether Satya Sai Baba is good or bad...but, calling him Bhagavan and treating him as God is just stupidity. These Baba followers are like a cult. Even in the case of Shirdi Sai Baba, it is not correct to build mandirs. There were more greater gurus like Sapta Rishis, etc. than these Babas and we never built mandirs to them. May be you can treat them as gurus and it should stop there. Some morons give more impotance to these Babas than to Sriman Narayana!

If you cannot respect a guru in living body, do you think you really respect a guru who left the body? Saptha Rishis are sages who left their bodies long back, and they do not give personal guidance to any one. Progressing in spirituality without a living master is very very difficult ( of course, not impossible ... but rare .. like winning a lottery).
Im not a Saibaba follower, but being an Indian you should really try to learn about role of a Guru in self realizatoin.
Any one reaching super conscious state says every one is God if they are awaken... whether or not others understand it, they at least call those Guru's as Bhagavans .. ( like Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi, Bhagavan Rama Krishna Paramahamsa etc). Don't be jealous ... :-) :-) Do some serious research :-)

You need to give respect to gurus and follow their teachings to reach God instead of making Gurus as Gods! Both Baba followers treat their Babas as Gods! So, go and study Sanatan Dharma properly instead of posting your half-knowledge comments here!
Even Hiranyakasipu and Ravanasur consider themselves Gods! They hads followers too!
Guru should be a guru like Sri Adi Shankaracharya, Sri Ramanujacharya, Sri Madhvacharya, etc. and the present day peetadhipatis like Jeeyarswamis and Shankaracharyas. These babas are gfor moronic people influenced by Kali Yuga!

I am happy to note that BD has done some serious research and hence is good material for further serious research to university students who wish to pursue their Phd in the dynamics of kuru in a living body and kuru leaving a living body.
We have politicians who create regional and religious hatred, politicians who oppose projects like Tata Nano for political gains. We can change our political system by voting for the right person and persuading/educating people around you to vote for the right person. Please vote for the best candidate irrespective of Caste,Creed,region,religion,fraudulent propoganda etc. Some of us, have the feeling that if I vote for the best candidate and he is any way going to lose, why vote for him. Please, please .. we should not do this mistake again. Please vote for the right candidate no matter he wins or not. Once you vote for right candidate, the self satisfaction you get is unbelievable and outstanding. Sometimes I feel,Media is the biggest culprit to put you in dilemma by deciding themselves this candidate is going to win. No. We are the decision makers. Whether you like him or criticize him, you need to mention one thing. He had served the society in his own way. If any one goes to puttaparthi / white field will say the same. Once you enter into rayala seema area, you see only stones in majority area. But near puttaparthi everything changes.
One great thing is their water project and hospitals. I know so many people who got benefited from it and don't forget whatever amount of controversies you have around him , still he is better than our damn politicians and major bunch of industrialists who never spend a single paisa of their income for charity.
This person is doing that.
by the way, I personally don't believe or a staunch follower of him despite of my whole load of relatives pressure. But I admire the work he is doing. at least he is sharing his wealth for the society.
Everybody should acknowledge this. In fact his trusts hospitals are always way above these blood sucking so called multi super specialties.

If Sathya Sai Baba is not a cheat, then he should do all these charitable things as a social worker and not as God! He gets money big-time and he spends it for big name! That is all to it!

Do you know that in order for him to spend like this as charity in a small area, how many times more money he has been making by cheating many other people from all over the world? Do you remember how the murder of 4 students inside his ashram was hushed up?
