how does secularism help the poor
by Rajni Mishra on Apr 22, 2009 04:54 PM  | Hide replies

Come election time, political leaders of all hues, tiranga, red, blue, start harping about secularism as if it were the panacea for all ill facing the poor and downtrodden of this ancient nation. They want us to believe that secularism of their variety will not get rid of corruption, hunger, criminal activities, but also provide for living accomodation, good education, good roads, and means of employment. These rogues forget that their blabbering about secularism, some call it pseudosecularism, is dividing the Indian society in the middle and creating differences between people of the same blood. Communalism will die its own death, only if 'secular' politicians do not provide it ICU facilities. Same is the case with casteism. In fact, fundamentalists are more honest about their intentions than these lousy politicians.

Mr.Shivraj Singh Chavan, M.P. Chief Minister
by caruthedath gopalakrishnan on Apr 22, 2009 04:52 PM  | Hide replies

Mr.Shivraj Singh Chavan, M.P. Chief Minister, is one leader who has the good of people at heart and works with that. His focus is on "development" which indirectly improves the lot of common man. He is sincere, honest and result-oriented. If we had a Chief Minister like him in every state in India, the face of India will drastically change. He is non-controversial and takes all with him.

Muzlims should vote BJP
by prosperousindia on Apr 22, 2009 04:44 PM  | Hide replies

Muzlims are more protected, more prosperous and more liberal in BJP ruled states compared to Cong ruled states. Muzlims should vote for BJP for their own benefit.

Why must you talk only about muslims? Simply say that all the people in MP and Gujarat are better off than those in Sonia-ruled states.
