Communal Amity
by sridhar subramaniam on Apr 22, 2009 08:17 PM  | Hide replies

We are still not able to rise above the Communal and Casteist divide and our elections are being contested more on these lines than making Economic Development as the Central Theme. Muslims should also stop thinking themselves as pawns in the vote bank game and start supporting candidates who display vision and statesmanlike qualities. Muslim Leaders have a great responsibility here to lead their bretheren. They should know that their country, India is not like other countries. Like Pakistan or other countries which is strife torn and people are struggling to maintain normal life. In India, our Muslim brothers have enormous opportunities to march ahead. Let them educate themselves and compete with the other communities and believe me, the fruits will not be denied to them. Let the local muslim leaders set up Polytechnics and Colleges and equip their children to get modern education to forge ahead in life.Let Muslim entrepreneurs set up companies and give them employment and bring about development. That should be the priority rather than getting into a confrontational mode with the other communities. The focus should be to progress and to live harmoniously with the other communities.

be it whatever party - a religious party should never come in to existence. If there is BJP, there is something for Muslims, there is something for Christians, Sikhs etc etc with a never ending list. These "conservative" religious people can NEVER be "liberals" .. SO, you be Muslim, Christian or Hindu .. Vote for a Non-Religeous Party!

This article itself is a case in study why Mozlem appeasement is going on ... It clearly shows how Mozlems are ready to vote enmasse with single minded agenda .... no nation, no development, no vision they have only one agenda...Mozlem votes are on sale like a wholesale lot and there are several so called "Secular" parties who want their share out of that pie ...
