common folks everyones knows this. Even if you have 1 crore or 250 crore, u are a crorepati. Today a single flat or a ground in mumbai, hyd, bng and all big cities are around 1 crore, so its a no big surprise to have crorepati.
I think a best mark must be like more than 10 crores, 15 crores like that.. becauase any tom/dick harry who has a piece of land in mumbai is a crorepati

hi...
Mr. Sathya Narayanan, what u said is absolutely correct, anybody having a piece of land in mumbai, b'lore, h'bad are around 1 cr, but here they r not talking about any tom, dick, & harry. do u think the 2 contestants from MNS just have as u say a crore or a bit more than that.
how will thesecrorepatis if elected know the problems faced by the people in remote villages know - particularly places where there is no drinking water /electricity or roads , these people rarely get out of their a/c cars and bungalows .
Not a single candidate is contesting election because they want to do something for the country. All are looking to make fast bucks and become crorepatis. While aam aadmi is reeling under recession, Netas are laundering money in poll campaigns. none of the parties is reliable and whoever comes to power will be no better.
India has shown no communal forces survive. But India will not survive. Soon muzlims will cross 50%. The debate over secularism will not be there, since then izzlam will be official religion. And soon Taliban will take over after that. So vote congress to power if you want India to end up the way I described. Just think India was from Afghanistan to Burma. Now Afghanistan,Pak and Bangladesh are complete taliban. So effectively India got downsized by 40%. Just wake up to save the remaining 60%.Don't be fooled by Congi secularism. It is better to live now under fanatics like Modi than live under someone like Sufi M'o'ho'mm'ad of Swat valley fame.

babaji - Thanks. But no thanks. We are happy living the way we are.
Most likeley result is India will elect half BJP and half Congress and that way let both keep each other in check. One of them will form a govt with outside help from Left or third front.
So you can take your ideas of living under fanatics to some other country.
Is it necessary to be a democracy in the country? As we all had seen how the democracy meaning has change in Indian dictionary? Why not military rule? president Rule?....Will this cause to the development?IF yes then how much we had developed in democracy? Might be i am wrong...but i think military rule/president rule make some sense...

What if the military ruler comes in and abuses your family and kicks you in to a mental facility with no explanation and no court to appeal to and with no legal route to take and with no press to highlight your plight? Will you be singing the same song then...?

Naxal Bari movement which was crushed but couldn’t be finished by the hierarchy in Bengal, it was labeled as communism and anarchy when all it was trying to do was restore the basic human rights to a suffering populace, festering like an open sore on the face of India
