Indian democracy
by Abdul Rafique on Apr 22, 2009 11:29 AM

All over India, election results depend on caste, religion and linguistic equations.
People don't even ask their respresentatives what they have done for betterment of their area.
Indian democracy is a farce.

Congie sycophants only need a masala incident to blame Advani and BJP. I am seeing many posts blaming Advani on Kandahar. Let me clear the air.

1. The plane was NOT hijacked from the Indian soil. It was hijacked in a foreign country - Nepal. This proves that Indian security was tight enought not to enable terrorists to hijack a plane from Indian airport. It is the Nepal security to be blamed which was beyond the control of NDA.

2. The plane landed in Taliban-ruled Afghanistan. This was the country that even US could not confidently save its people whilst a US plane gets hijacked and lands there. NDA appealed to Talibani govt for their support and enable the plane take off and land on an Indian airport. Taliban completed ignored NDA plea - any wonders?

3. People balming Advani for Kandahar because he tried to save 200 indian lives. These congie lickers would have otherwise kept quiet if their own relatives would have been in the flight. What would they have done then?
They would have run to Advani with plea to get the 200 lives released bcoz their own relatives were there. isnt it?

Even Congress knows very well what you have stated, but the ant-national mindset of not only the Congress, but of entire UPA/THIRD FRONT/FOURTH FRONT is in the habit of raising fake issues against BJP.

congress cannot handle terror.
7/11 2006: Mumbai Train Blasts. 209 Killed.
25/8 2007: Hyderbad Blasts: 42 Killed
Oct 11 2007: Ajmer Blasts : 2 Killed
May 13 2008: Jaipur Blasts : 68 Killed
July 16th 2008: Ahmedabad Blasts : 57 Killed
July 25th 2008: Banglaore Blasts: 1 killed
Sept 13th 2008: Delhi Blasts: 26 Killed
Sept 27th 2008: Delhi Blasts: 2 Killed
Sept 29th 2008 : Gujrat Blasts : 1 killed
Oct 21st 2008: Imphal Blasts : 17 Killed
Oct 30th 2008: Assam Blasts : 40 Killed
Nov 26th 2008: Mumbai Attack: 180 killed

Every major city in India has been attacked consistently over the last two years.
Since 2004, 3850 Indians have died in Terror attacks in over 3000 incidents.
Is the common Indian on the streets really safe ?

Did you know that on the day of the Mumbai train blasts, the Government gave Rs 150 crores for earthquake relief in Pakistan ? Last year our Govt. has given Rs 3000 crores (600 Million Dollars) to Afghanistan? This, when victims of terror in India have not yet got aid? Whats going on?

congress does not care about the country

The Pakistani flag is now being hoisted in five districts of states like Assam where the Muslim population has gone up significantly. 92000 Hindu and 6000 Christians are now languishing in refugee camps. The government has turned a blind eye to this.

In the name of security, innocent people have been put in jails, whereas people like Yaasin Malik who has 23 murder charges on him, are moving Scot free and gathering their own strength. Is it acceptable to any patriotic Indian?

Can the Congress led UPA promise a non-muslim CM in J&K ? Reservation for a Hindu student in Nagaland ? If so, we wholeheartedly support them.. Otherwise they should sit at home the next few years and rethink their policies.

Can our politicians stop stooping down to any lengths just for money and power ? Like Mr.Sharad Pawar, who first ditched the Congress and then ditched the people and aligned back with the Congress, just to be in power.

Dont be deceived. What appears to be communal is not communal, and what appears to be secular is not secular. It is time we change our thinking.

congress is ruining the country.

The number of people living below the poverty line has increased by a horrifying 20 per cent. India had some 270 million people below the poverty line in 2004-2005, when the present Government took office. That number has gone up by 55 million, or 20 per cent!

Why all min0rities should vote for the BJP
by Fried Yakov on Apr 22, 2009 01:40 AM  | Hide replies

I am a Christi@n, and I would like to implore all my fellow brethern to vote for the BJP. If the C0ngress gains power for the next term, we will soon have the T@liban in India, thanks to their policy of going ultra-s0ft on terr0r, and then can you imagine the condition of Christi@ns, $hias, @hmeddiy@s, and other minorities including Buddh1sts under T@liban rule? I have travelled to P@kistan, Kuw@it, S@udi Ar@bia, and UAE, and I have personally experienced how discriminated and repressed Christi@ns are there, without any recourse to justice. Already the T@liban have declared in Pak that dem0cracy is an @nathema to them, and the verdict of $haria courts cannot be challenged. Would you like to live under such conditions? That is why it is important for all min0rities (except probably the $unnis) to v0te for the BJP. I would also request all my friends and other patriotic Indians to copy my message and spread it amngst other patriotic Indians

BJP has done enough to get votes. But I am sick of those fellows who bring communalism to get vote. This makes the BJP a cheap party. I think all right thinking BJP fellows should come forward and raise their voice to stop this menance. their silence amounts to tacit support for such type of activities.

We have politicians who create regional and religious hatred, politicians who oppose projects like Tata Nano for political gains.

We can change our political system by voting for the right person and persuading/educating people around you to vote for the right person.

Loksatta led by Jayaprakash Narayan(Former IAS)is the only party which said it will not use
1) Money
2) Liquor
3) Religious hatred
4) Regional hatred to win in elections.

It is the only party which said it will not go for strikes to protest against government polocies but will protest in a democratic way.

For a country like India which has a 14% power deficiency importing nuclear technology for power generation is very important. Loksatta is the only party which was not part of the UPA (ruling coilation) which supported the Nuclear deal and urged other parties to support the deal which is very essential for our country.

When govt increased fuel prices because of the increased prices in gulf countries all oppositon parties did unfruitful works like using bullock carts to goto assembly. But loksatta is the only party which said we should reduce our dependency on oil (petrol) we should start using unconventional resources and fuel efficient technologies.

It is the only party which talks about providing good education and health facilities, infrastructure.

Let us all contribute by voting for the right person and campaign for parties like Loksatta which have great principles
