What Gopalaswami told was corrcect. CEC shuld be an impartial body and not a stoog of any party. But If Sonia thinks the other way what Goplaswami can do. When top secret discussion was going on Navin Chawla frequently went to the toilet and each time he went there,orders came to CEC by phone from the top,what to do and what not to do. Note that he got a top award from Italy for writing a book about the need to strengthen the relationship between India and Italy,much stronger than the BOFORS ERA, and there is nothing surprising in Chawla getting the post of CEC. Manmohan Sing is the Pm but Sonia rules. We will be never able to get rid of the Italian menace.

Gopalaswamy told the President that whole country is telling that Chawla is a Naukar at 10 Janpath dont appoint him as the CEC, did she listen?
