by Prasad Vemparala on Apr 22, 2009 09:44 AM

In the end he he could not take action against PCC president of AP for uttering similar words like Varun, I dont know why your repoter did not ask him. Naturally he has already resigned to the fate thta Navin Chawala will be next CEC.
Though he knows (just like we all knew Sanjay dutt will be given bail by the SC after his sister went and met Sonia)that no action would be taken ,he recommeded the removal of Mr Chawala to clear his conscious.
He seems to be one of the last honest persons in the system.

Goaplswami is genuine correct in many matters
by sivasubramanian on Apr 22, 2009 09:39 AM  | Hide replies

Seshan and Gopalsami made this country's election process near genuine at with real dedication.
Dirty secularist and congress will always try bring this country to their feet,
That what they did after last election. They chaeted indian public who voted Congress out,
The media projected that as BJP loosing
Infact the left should not have supported the congress government,
They are criminals and power crazy.
But Gopalsami action against varun was to declare his unbaise to indian public, it is unwarranted.
Just to keep his image out as BJP sympathiser
it happened he has to do it.
But his belief and duty are two entirely different so congress should not insult good
people like him, as the country need many more officer like him.
Take one politician start his carrer at the same time like an IAS officer,
This officer end his career asc honest and loving person,
But the politician dies of ill will.
So gonress should take action against sonia ghandi,
Even indian media never raise this issue any time before.
So one of the 3 pillars of democrazy also doing all evill and are responsible for nation failure in checking black money and corruption.
The Tehelka made lot string opreation now they are thinking india is free corruption,
How does these guys are being born as human.
Only baise is their mind.
Hell with them.

A Plea for action
by Please Vote on Apr 22, 2009 08:58 AM  | Hide replies

We have politicians who create regional and religious hatred, politicians who oppose projects like Tata Nano for political gains.

We can change our political system by voting for the right person and persuading/educating people around you to vote for the right person.

Loksatta led by Jayaprakash Narayan(Former IAS)is the only party which said it will not use
1) Money
2) Liquor
3) Religious hatred
4) Regional hatred to win in elections.

It is the only party which said it will not go for strikes to protest against government polocies but will protest in a democratic way.

For a country like India which has a 14% power deficiency importing nuclear technology for power generation is very important. Loksatta is the only party which was not part of the UPA (ruling coilation) which supported the Nuclear deal and urged other parties to support the deal which is very essential for our country.

When govt increased fuel prices because of the increased prices in gulf countries all oppositon parties did unfruitful works like using bullock carts to goto assembly. But loksatta is the only party which said we should reduce our dependency on oil (petrol) we should start using unconventional resources and fuel efficient technologies.

It is the only party which talks about providing good education and health facilities, infrastructure.

Let us all contribute by voting for the right person and campaign for parties like Loksatta which have great principles

Sonia and the Belgian award
by sridharan r on Apr 22, 2009 08:39 AM  | Hide replies

it will be interestng to know what the Sonia-picked President is going to decide on the issue. The President has a golden opportunity to prove that she is very independent and objective by her decision. If there is something very serious and the CEC's is correct, one would expect her to be bold and decide accordingly.

Indian president is just a honorary post. It is meant to be like that. The government will decide. If Presidents start to decide, it will be like Musharaff rule!

I hope any CEC can have his party after his retirement,
When in CEC chair they need to be impartial;many indian guys don't understand a particular person can function entirely independentent if he take his duty as duty to GOD.
However Navin gang should not spoil india's democrazy.
MK like people will try to use the CEC as their pocet troop.

KASHMIR
by Vishwamitra Singh on Apr 22, 2009 08:13 AM  | Hide replies

An ingenious example of speech and politics occurred recently in the United Nations Assembly that made the world community smile.

A representative from India began: 'Before beginning my talk I want to tell you something about Rishi Kashyap of Kashmir, after whom Kashmir is named. When he struck a rock and it brought forth water, he thought, 'What a good opportunity to have a bath.' He removed his clothes, put them aside on the rock and entered the water. When he got out and wanted to dress, his clothes had vanished. A Pakistani had stolen them.'

The Pakistani representative jumped up furiously and shouted, 'What are you talking about? The Pakistanis weren't there then.'

The Indian representative smiled and said, 'And now that we have made that clear, I will begin my speech. 'And they say Kashmir belongs to them........ ......... ......... .....

This is one mail I recommend to be shared with 'ALL INDIANS'........ Including the world at large.

Source of assets
by gopalkiran on Apr 22, 2009 08:13 AM

The outgoing Election Commissioner has handed over the biggest instrument in the hand of all Charitable NGO AND THAT IS THEY CAN ASK ALL THE POLITICIAN REGARDING THERE SOURCE OF income and Assets. All the Politician are filling affadavits regarding there assets and if proved to be wrong they can be jailed.
IT IS THE DUTY OF THE INVESTIGATING WING OF THE iNCOME TAX TO DEMAND FROM EACH CANDIDATE THERE SOURCE OF ASSETS GENERATED WHO SO EVER THE PARTY IS.

iF THE DEPARTMENT FAILS TO DO THIS it will be proved that the whole deparment is nothing but a puppet in the hand of politician and nothing else:
We from the very childhood talk of nationalism and nationality but our own Law maker and Institution resposible for application and supervision of the impicability of law fails to do there job:

MAY GOD BLESS THIS NATION ELSE TIME WILL COME WE WILL HAVE TO TEACH OUR CHILDREN TOTALLY UNWILLINGLY THE LESSON OF UNLAWNESS AND TERRORISM.
