CEC's powers were exposed by T.N.Seshan when he became CEC and brought in many changes to the biggest democracy in India and desciplined many criminal politicians! Those who do their duty is not liked by Congress. Congress want to run India as their family business and those who opposed are illtreated like Gopalsamy.

Slowly EC is going back to the Pre-Seshan era. very soon it will get added in congress group of companies, which is already inclusive of CBI etc etc..

Then why Mr Sheshan joined Congress? yeadiyurappa also doing family buisness by giving ticket to his son. Another Ministers sister from Bellary. If congress do this you call it family buisness if Bharatiya Joota sorry janata party the most disiplined cadre base party do this what did you say know?
