Hats off to captain. He is the man who dared to dream, differently & managed to fulfill a life time dream of common people to fly. I am from mumbai, maharashtra, but sincerely feel that all the electorates from Bangalore, irrespective of caste and creed, give him a chance. Its sure that with 1 M.P. out of 543, cant do miracles, but lets give a chance and if he succeeds in developing his locality, then, definitely, we will find many educated, experienced people from finance/marketing and other streams contributing the nation, in the form of getting elected as an M.P. and then only we can say that India has progressed. With due regards and respect to all, a Defence minister has never done even a one-year course in defence matters, home minister is not aware of the problems faced by people in various states and the typical solutions needed to solve the problem. Here the scenario is, if you have a lot of 20-30 M.P.'s, you can negotiate the portfolio of your choice, more the M.P.'s in your kitty, better (money minting) portfolio in your side. If you manage a group of 50-60, then like in marketing - Collective Bargaining - you can make a syndicate and take the ministries of your choice, wherein, common man wont know at all what is been cooked up by them, where the money is utilised. Its an open fact, that like the 65,000 crores being released by the Centre for farmers relief, hardly, 20% must have reached to the end & the residual amount must have DEFINITELY been vanished.
Bangalore south people should elect him forgetting about the party which they belong to .Capt Gopinath had the guts to reduce Air fare which helped lots and lots of Indians to fullfill life time dream to go by flight atleast once in lifetime.We need people like Capt Gopinath and not people like Gowdas,Jayalalita,Amar singh,Mayawati,Raj Thackarey..........

Dude.. ur not aware of the real situation..!!! BJP had posted him there to snatch the muslim votes from congress thats the whole ideology.,. i live in this constituency.. Mr Gopinath is a blady middlemen...!!

Main fight is between BJP- Cong. This Capt fellow wont win and he will devide votes there. if he wins, it'll be wonder of the year.I think BJP has more chances due to heavy campaign & Anant Kumar's strong image. No matter what, there are ppl who vote for BJP. JD-s also will have its own muslim votes & muslim votes have no say in Blr south. Divide is only hindu votes & Kannada speaking southern ppl. Kumar might win with marginal votes. may be even 2-3K difference. Blore north- jaffer sherrif(Cong), blore central- mohan(BJP) and rural-HDKumarsamy(JDs)- this is for sure.

Why can't he be an MP? Lot of parties have put up crorepati candidates, why don't you give them this suggestion? will they listen?
A real entrprenuer means who brings a products for mass consumptions with very reasonable price that is what the mantra of Capt Gopinath .No body imagin that an ordinery persons now a days can travell by air so I have great hope about this great person who can do some good job by joining next Gov irrespective of any Gov and Gov gets the benefit of his expertise . I would request Capt to focus next generation development is Rural India Development from where India can generate tremendous wide marketing base with 1 billion people of which nearly 70% people live in Rural India .Rural India is so far neglected last 60 years so I think there are huge scope for IT,Education,Housing ,Roads ,Rural tourism,Rural police force ,power,modern farming .Capt Gopinath can think of such business . I wish him all the success

Yes my IQ is pretty low and no prizes for guessing that but enough to state that " Politics in India is good business" it is unheard of that any politician or aspiring politician really and sincerely wants the betterment of the nation. Naw my Mom did not patronize me but chose my profession. Thanks for the suggestion to start up some biz in rural areas.

Well Sunny ,yes politics is a good business to earn money but without backing of a established political parties ,one cannot make politics a career prospect .Capt Gopinath is already an established person in business career and have tremendous clout in all levels .To reach that level one has to really slog .You have just started your career and if you donot like job as a career ,pl start your own business and Rural India is the only option to establish small business .Rural retail segments is good option ,rural tourism is another good option ,rural IT is also good prospect .You can start a IT education school in Rural area .You have to find out your idea .It is not possible to explain details in this forum

Yes Politics is a good buissiness. See! Mayawati declared 52 crore rupees assets during filing the nominations in last state(U.P)elections.In case she would have continued as her previous profession(teacher) she would have taken 20 births to earn that kind of money.So all my Indian Brothers and sisters ,please join politics and become rich,even if you don't stand for elections,vote and earn note.

Yes, Gpolinath is dividing the votes and thereby giving a chance to BJP. He is a corporate man and politics is not his cup of tea. He neither eats nor allows others to do so. All in all this willbe afutile exercise. His intention may be alright, but this form does not suit him.
Recently he organised youngster forum in Madavan park where his main agenda were
1)Extention of time for PUB and Nightclub
2)Strict action against Moral policing
i agree moral polcing should be dealt very seriouly but Dont you think there are lot unsolved problems in south bangalore.. i think its big gimmick to gain youngster vote by extending time of pub...
