Why media is bent to Cong
by J Chandrasekhar on Apr 21, 2009 06:47 AM  | Hide replies

I am watching most of the TV programs, interviews and debates; also seeing most of the news papers. There is a perceptible bias against BJP. They are not giving importance to the public speaches of BJP leaders

Look at the coverage of the entourage of Sonia, Priyanka and Rahul! Anything wrong??

I really wonder, why Tarun's message is reported for abuse. What he has written on media, is absolutely true. We have such hyprocrites among the rediff bloggers?

I've often wondered about the extent of this bias. Does it stay only at the upper echelon with top most people running those media houses, or does it percolate down to the junior level as well? I mean journos reporting do their jobs as per what they are asked by their seniors...isn't it?

Italian looking, smartly dressed, soft-finned....
by Pankaj Mohan on Apr 21, 2009 06:42 AM  | Hide replies

Let the aquarium fishes stay in their neatly fed enclosures? The Italian looking, smartly dressed, soft-finned and nice sounding aquarium KEE MACHHALIYAAN. Why not wait for the true fighter MATSYAAs to emerge and show us their KARTAB...but Priyanka can be a better leader than Rahul, if she ever wishes to try her luck on that, no doubt about it.

The good looks of Priyanka are pervasive and that is the reason for thinking that she could be a better leader. It is unfortunate, in India more importance is givdn to the color of the skin. Look at the sale of the fairness creams

The simplest reason why Priyanka can be a better leader than Rahul is that she can at least speak better Hindi and is able to express more nicely, Rahul can't...now this statement of mine didn't say if both of them will be anywhere near the BJP leaders or not..did it? So, you jumped to conclusion so fast...specially talks about skin color etc. Complete rubbish. If one can right the message I wrote down, they can also better understand the skin color issue, so use your brain judiciously next time.

My messaage is not meant for you, sorry it hurt you

I generalised the usual penchant that we observe among the masses in this country. I agree that she is a better communicater than Rahul

It's ok J Chandrasekhar. No issues. I personally regard the skin color issue very seriously, and would be the first one to ask for a ban on fairness cream etc if I could ever. In fact, I was only trying to have fun of the Gandhis, though in a little decent manner. I'm a pukka Modi voter from Modi-land, hence the aquarium reference.

As regards to skin color issue, I personally take it very seriously, and will be the first one to ask for a ban on fairness cream if I could ever. My earlier message was a pun on Gandhi family, though in a decent way.

Against Coalition
by guru sharma on Apr 21, 2009 06:39 AM

today congress talks against third front, tomorrow when they have a fractured mandate..will seek support. I reckon coalation politics should be constitutionally banned! Coz it is not the real will of the ppl. The smaller regional parties get voted in coz of various consideration and choose to support a party of their own (which may not reflect tha actual will of the ppl). Then why recognise the coalation politics?

Priyanka's In-law Deaths fishy...
by santosh srivastav on Apr 21, 2009 06:36 AM

Someone by name Startraveller posted a intersting message that " Priyanka father -in- law was murdered"

For your information, not only her father-in-law but her most of the in-laws have died under mysterious circumstances.

Her brother-in-Law(Brother of Robert Vadra) has also Committed suicide and her sister in-laws were killed in a road accident on the Delhi-Jaipur highway in April, 2001

Most of her immediate in-law have died...thr is something fishy in this.

I wonder why BJP is silent on this issue...BJP is not as dynamic as it was before...they left many issues like this ....where as cong is bashing BJP for thr blunders left, right and center...

I am supporter of BJP and I truely think that BJP shud come up with more genuine faults of Cong rather then Anti-Communal, weak PM.

This news was reported by TOI on Sep 20th 2003

NEW DELHI: Richard Vadra, estranged brother of Priyanka Gandhi's husband Robert Vadra, reportedly committed suicide in Moradabad on Friday.

The tragedy comes two years after the Vadra family lost Michelle — Robert and Richard's sister — in a road accident on the Delhi-Jaipur highway in April, 2001. No details are available on what happened in Moradabad. Robert Vadra refused to comment on his brother's death when contacted by TNN.

In January 2002, Robert Vadra placed ads in newspapers, declaring that he had nothing to do with his father, Rajinder, and brother, Richard, and that any attempts by them to gain favours by pretending

Angel?
by J Chandrasekhar on Apr 21, 2009 06:35 AM

The masses in India are the real culprits as well as the victims of the farce called democracy

Look at the ppl who are getting swayed away by her tantrums and fake Gandhi name. I think a miracle has to take place in India to come out of this fake Gandhi family slavery and to get out of the clutches of the Italian mafia queen

there is nothing wrong in the inter racial marriages in this family as it is entirely a personal matter

In the name of fake Gandhi family name these are cheating the masses and unfortunately we have power mongers like Cong politicians who are propping a worthless lady for their own survival

Black Money!
by guru sharma on Apr 21, 2009 06:30 AM

Anyone read about the 688000 Crore black money placed in foreign bank in the last 5 years as identified by Chartered Acct Gurumurthy? We have printed 200000 Crore notes in the last 5 years, written off farmer loans of 300000 Crores (which is obviously non-existant) thereby increasing inflation rate.
Its time ppls think of a wholistic picture of our economy before they cast their vote. But who will?
