The middle path she is talking about is to secure votes probably. Coz if priyanka follows Hinduism, christianity or a Islam...she will secure only that community's votes. So the buddhist middle path she is referring to is to secure votes from all religions!!!

No, its a known psuedo position to deny the role played by Hinduism prior to 500BC, advent of Buddha.
It means negation of the Vedas, Ventandas and all those in between.
It means negation of Eric era history, the ramayana and the manabharata.
Hostility to Hinduism, its place is liked by Muslims. So, this is done to do keep votebank intact.
Madhu Kishwar wrote something on these lines which is worth mentioning here:
"The preference of large sections of the Muslim leadership and westernised Muslim intelligentsia for a Nehruvian brand of secularism has proved to be very harmful for Muslims in the long run. In the process they have rejected & ridiculed Gandhi's approach to inter-community harmony largely because they are uneasy with his use of certain Hindu symbols. These white people propagated the Aryan migration theory to discredit our civilization. Apparently, we were just brown monkeys before the Aryans came to India- just 1500 years before jesus! We are to blame- no pride at all and we still teach Aryan invasion as a fact in schools.
Has anyone seen Amethi? Why people on this forum thinking that people of Amethi are stupid?
How rich is Gujarat man? There are dirt poor Muslims living there. And hordes of Gujaratis still making a beeline to the consulate. Ditto for Punjab. Talk about Bengal, we all know what is going on there, Nano and all educated literates are out of there, leavign the state at the hands of govt. employees.
And south India...now aftre 10 years of Mr. Chandrababu Naidu, farmers still commit suicide. Has anyone seen the condition of the new softwrae (under/un)grdauates of that state?

Ok. What is the development that has happened in Amethi? The whole dynasty has won from that constituency for 60 years now. Even if you compare it with Gujarat...which has been lately under BJPs rule...it has done wonderful job. BTW, your other two states are being ruled by congress.

There was some investigation about this during VP Singh govt and during Vajpayee govt. Did these two govts hide the facts?
Let's say Congress is biased in not conducting investigations. But how about the successive govts of VPSingh, Chandrasekhar, Gujaral, Vajpayee....these are a lot of people to have done and got nothing.
