there are some intresting facts to know for indans
by Eye Opener on Apr 20, 2009 12:28 AM  | Hide replies

One frequently hears that Rajiv Gandhi's
grandfather (nanaji) was
Pandit Nehru. But then we all know that everyone
has two grandfathers,
the paternal (dadaji) and the maternal (nanaji)grandfathers.

In fact, the paternal grandfather is deemed to be
the
more important grandfather in most societies.

Why is it then, nowhere, we find Rajiv Gandhi's
paternal
grandfather' s name? It appears that the reason
is simply. Rajiv
Gandhi's paternal grandfather (dadaji) was a Muslim
gentleman from the Junagadh
area of Gujarat .

This Muslim grocer by the name of Nawab Khan, had
married
a Parsi woman after converting her to Islam.

This is the source where from the myth of Rajiv
being
a Parsi was derived. Rajiv's father Feroze, was
Feroze Khan before he married
Indira, against Kamala Nehru's wishes.

Feroze's mother's family name was Ghandy, often
associated
with Parsis and this was changed to Gandhi,
sometime before his wedding
with Indira, by an affidavit.

is that the reasonwhy congress is muslim bias?

Congress was biased toward muslims right from the time of Pt.Nehru. Mrs. Kamla Nehru past away when her husband Pt.Nehru was only 36 years old. How come you say that "Feroze Khan married
Indira, against Kamala Nehru's wishes. "?

OK_CONGRESS PRO MUSLIMS, BJP PRO HINDU. OK_ CAN WE AFFORD TO HAVE A NON-CONG AND NON-BJP GOVT AT THE CENTRE? can we force the 3rd or 4th or 5th front, if comes to power, to have a PM based on public opinion polls for the sake of stability, changes and seculrism ??

Give us a choice
by Sanjay Singh on Apr 20, 2009 12:17 AM  | Hide replies

Please stop this dance of democracy if you can not manage it. In my constituency (Thane Loksabha Constituency) neither Congress nor BJP is fighting and I have been forced to choose betwen Vandals(Read Shiv Sena) and NCP (Anti Nationals). And they ask why good and educated people do not come out to vote.

ok_i got same problems. lets try to bring 3rd, 4th and 5th front to power at centre and lets find out a PM by the help of public opinion polls. and make a monitor committee made of citizens representing all class, caste and religion to govern India on behalf of official governing body? after 26/11, peolple from Mumbai came out on the streets with same kind of spirit and ideology - ENOUGH IS ENOGH. neither BJP nor CONG can and will give us anything. Time has proved that. lets try seriously this time.

what happened to lalu ... he seems to lost his brain and became so communal ... each rally he talk about babree Masjeed , killing varun for pleasing a community , and so on ......

BTW all party are communal (if we include cast as community) so better to test least communal BJP this time instead of worse communal congress and third front

by siva none on Apr 19, 2009 10:31 PM

We need a leader to lead all Indians who are made up of all sorts of caliber- Rich, Poor, Weak, Strong,Crroks, Straightforward persons, patriots, looters, opportunists, among 10,000 odd caste all ove r India. All contestants start bashing at each other so badly chappals are thrown at them under protest.
Can we find an Indian Prime Minister and equally good Indian ministers to tackle all problems which have never been addressed and remedied yet - in 60 years of Indipendance.

Is there any answer or do we suffer again?

Vote for Peaceful Progress
by Mandar Sumant on Apr 19, 2009 09:49 PM

We all are human and we have to caste our vote to those candidates who believe in humanity and human progress. Progress means not only economical or materialistic. But we need peaceful progress which give us satisfy to our mind and heart. And it is possible if we caste our vote after reading profile of candidate, them's speeches and them's view toward progress. I think it is rare to find such a candidate, but let us try and search such a candidate who will lead us and our next generation.
