you would say it so easily because you would never feel the terror which we north indians are experiencing since centuries. You were untouched even during Mughal times and that is the reason why you compare the m*&kelou*$de talibanis with bajrangdal. People like you were never reliable and same applies now south Indian.

This South Indian is a joker of Congress, we feel shame that you call yourself a south Indian. Be a Indian.

Congress will leave our country more worse than Taliban. Congress are more dangerous than Taliban or any other organisation, Please people of India wipe and kick out this Congress from our Nation.

Jai Hind.

Hee Hee...some how I prefer the Bajrangis to the Taliban. It is very easy for you to write it here, I have served in the armed forces, I have seen the horror which the Jihadis commit on innocent civilians.
South Indian or whoever you are...you just dont know the writ of these hard core islamists.
Bajrangis are 1 crore times better, they are human beings.
Yet another Congressi joker.

Why all min0rities should vote enmass for the BJP
by Fried Yakov on Apr 20, 2009 09:37 AM  | Hide replies

As a Christian I believe that it is essential that all min0rities (except probably the $unnis) should enmass vote for the BJP in the current polls. Voting for the C0ngress will ensure Talib@n rule in India in a few years, which would sound the death knell for all Christi@ns, $hias, @hmeddiyas, and any one else who is not a $unni. Already the Taliban has declared in Pak that democracy in an Izlamic state and there can be no appeal against the ruling of a $haria court. Zardari has already sounded a SOS to protect Pak from falling into Taliban hands. Do we really want such a state in India? I sincerely believe a few terms of BJP rule wil atleast protect us from these perils.

Fried Yakov....I coudnt agree with you more. I too am a Christian and I know it for sure, that India can be SAFE and progress only under the BJP.
BJP is the only party which does not have the baggage of Muslim appeasement in taking firm steps to ensure our safety. Congress reactions to the 70 bomb blasts in the country since 2004, exposes its ineptness in tackling the issue.

Your view of talibanization of India is misplaced. As a country i am confident that irrespective of any religion we will be progressive and free from any such acts.

Brother, no one ever thought even an year ago that Pak would likely fall to the Taliban. What you think impossible now, may not seem so in the very near future.

You guys only grumble a one-off incident where a few troubled or killed from your commy. What about Briitissheers ruling this country for 200 years, harrasing us, killing our ancestors. My maternal grand father was a krantikaari and I have seen his back having those marks of hunter lashes by Britts till he died. Whay say about that??

how come Dhoni's brother joining a political party is a news ... he is just joining the party, not contesting an election on their ticket.

Anyway, Good luck to the elder Dhoni ... next time he may get an election ticket too.

Then why criminal case has been filed against M S Dhoni for not following the dictate of attending the Padma Sri award ceremony? In Past, so many other people did not attend award ceremony but they were not treated like criminal.

Vote for the right
by Please Vote on Apr 20, 2009 08:13 AM  | Hide replies

Many of us don't vote Do we have to?

We have politicians who create regional and religious hatred to become politicians; politicians who oppose good projects like Tata Nano for political gains. As most voters in India are uneducated and under educated - they can be easily provoked by religious and regional hatred etc. Many politicians target such people to get their votes.
Only very few of the educated who can judge the politicians, actually vote.
Just criticising our political system and politicians is not going to bring a change. We can bring a change by voting for the right person and persuading/educating people around you to vote for the right person.
Loksatta is the only party which has good principles and agenda and led by a very good
statesman Dr.Jayapraksh Narayan (Former IAS). It is the only party which supports and opposes government based on policies instead of bluntly opposing government like other opposition parties.
I request all of you to vote and encourage people around you to vote.

Please Please check this blog "loksatta-india" to know how worse our politicians are and great ideologies of Loksatta
If we don't support people with right principles they will become extinct in politics then only hatred will rule.

Kargil Attack = Government failure.
Chinese invasion in 1962 = Unfortunate betrayal.

Reservations in every school and college on caste lines = Secular. Reservations in Minority institutions = Communal.

Fake encounters in Gujarat [Sohrabuddin] = BJP Communalism.
Fake encounters under Cong-NCP in Maharashtra [Khwaja Younus] = Police atrocity.

Talking about Hindus and Hinduism appeasment = Communal. Talking about Muslims and Islam = Secular.

Plea to Congress Pls do not divide the nation further
by Kamadhenu on Apr 20, 2009 08:02 AM  | Hide replies

Latest in the series of controversies centred on the Congress party’s fixation with Muslim grievances is the data collection exercise involving the Indian Armed Forces.
It is irrelevant and mischievous to mention about caste-based divisions in the Army during the British rule.
Congress leaders not only divided the country politically but also militarily. The military officers and men of pre-independence India , belonging to all communities fought the WWII together under the British.

Pakistan got a ready-made army at its birth. When Indian Muslims got Pakistan they also got a Muslim army carved out of the undivided Indian Army. This army produced Pakistani generals and officers who fought wars with India — the first full scale war being in 1965. This is history in living memory.

The Congress party having divided and ruled the country for decades is continuing with its dangerous game and monstrous thinking of doing a head count for the Army now.

This media reminds the media in Indira's government
by akchatte on Apr 20, 2009 06:17 AM  | Hide replies

Since media at that time was scared of emergency, Indira managed to get media pretty much under control.
Media used to only bring color to Cong campaigns and sell their 'achievements' while suppressed opposition.

Country is again experiencing the same. Media has become a puppet or 'paid d0g' in the hands of Sonia.

But fate is the same. Media could not save Indira. It can not save Sonia too.
