It is the habit of some people to give statements which decent people do not utter in private or public. There should be a system of getting the speeches of contestants approved by the EC before they are delivered. Or there should be model speeches published by EC which can be copied and delivered by respective parties by incorporating their themes. In fact the manifesto also should be got approved by EC before it can be pronounced. Public meeting should be banned because they cause lot of inconvenience. Now electronic meetings/discussions can be held. The contestants also should participate in debates conducted in TV channels and put forth their view. These things go a long way and people get ultimately benefited. Now Ms.Mayawati can promulgate an ordinance on the plea for propagating decent speeches, by politicians prior approval of the speeches by a committee should be made because majority of them are containing inflammatory/in decent words. EC should make a law that the people who are booked for such type of ofences are bared from contesting elections. In Hyd MIM Chief is challenging the DGP to shed his dress and then come face to face.
