Th other point is by promising freebies the poltician earn huge profit 1) By importing freebies Take the case of TV in TN DMK gave free TVS from govt money. Now SUN TV a charges this monthly rent of 100Rs from same TV owners for providing connection so karunanidhi earning continues

you should understand, its the BJP govt in Gujarat which first said this and implemented succefully. now all the othe BJP ruled state following it! certainly it will take some time to implement this in all places agains the lures of the congis and regional parties like DMK, TDP... and gullible people. if there is one party has this in mind and can implement this, its BJP!

Malleshaiah, 55, a farmer from karnataka is absolutely correct.Every party is offerring Freebies as if they are giving from their pockets.In A.P. the Cong Govt is selling rice for Rs2 to BPL . where as Lower middle / middle class people are made to payRs35 per Kg which appears to be very unreasonable.This time Iam sure all the womenfolk are against the Cong govt.There every reason for cong in A.P to worry . The new govt at center should change the constitution barring freebies by any party

Remove subsidies and lower the taxes on petroleum, deisel, LPG etc which is more that 40% on petroleum product. Goverment is making fool of indian people, they are giving subsidy out of high rate of tax collected from petroleum product. If government lower the taxes on petroleum product and balance it with less subsidy or no subsidy. Which will make petroleum product affordable to all common and poor people.

the removal of subisdy on petroleum, deisel, LPG etc shud also be counterbalanced vs-a-vis removal of subsidy on Haj Pilgrimmage ,non-waiver Farm Loans , Sops like CTV's , Rs 1-2 per Kg rice etc . Than u will be more happy from ur current state.
The concept of freebies has been exploited by indian politicians for ages. At one hand give freebies, on the other, put surcharge on taxpayers.
Give free doles to laggards, lazy people than punish the taxpayer, by forcing them to shell out more money. Every taxpayer should resist any type of freebies.
another analogy: World Bank Assistance.
Even World Bank should not give assistance to corrupt and lazy countries. How much World Bank money has been gobbled by corrupt Indians, is for everybody to see.
World Bank is wasting money by giving to corrupt countires. All westerners should resist the attempt of World Bank to simply throw money to corrupt countires.
There should be strict norms for giving aid to corrupt countries.
Assistnace in extremely unfortunate cases, like, famine, earthquake can be considered.
Charity never improves anybody, rather, it breeds, dependence,laziness and corruption. People and countires should stand on their own feet. Wake up and work or perish should be the mantra for world.
