People cannot be fooled for all times

These left parties have no shame whatsoever & prove as the most opportunistic shedding all their ideals they once stood for.It is the same parties that opposed the N.Deal & made a big "ruppus"of the matter by going to the extent of withdrawing their support to UPA govt & passed no confidence motion against the Manmohan Singh govt just previous year on the same issue. And quite suddenly, for political reasons, they have the cheeks to say that they would reconsider the the same deal if voted to power. What sort of reconsideration they would have;the nation had already previously empowered the UPA govt to go ahead with the deal. There is a limit even for public tolerance & no political party can stand the ire of the people when once they revolt against a system or political party. They already have grown restive with the contemporary dirty politics. It is better that, at least, educated & enlightened politicians like Yechuri realise this & be careful before they talk any non-sense.They appear to be still reeling under an age old thought people are just a herd of sheep blindly following what some leader utters.Leftists appear to be day dreaming about capturing the power itself while their survival itself is big question mark in the changed political atmosphere-at least after revelation their true colours in the N.Deal issue. No political party in the present circumstances emerges viable enough to give a stable govt to the people.A hung parliament again appears inevitable for the nation.

Third Front or Left Front ?
by Ramesh on Apr 18, 2009 06:49 AM  | Hide replies

Third Front can not be an extension of the politbureau. Nor is it likely to treat any politbureau as its apex body.

If it turns out to be so, there is unlikely to be any Third Front, only Left Front.

Leftists have enough manmani with ManMohan Singh. Hopefully this time around there will be little more concern and caring stances.

While it is true that CPM/CPI have been the prime movers of this Third Front, the success of this federated Front can perhaps come about only at the cost of hollowing the Communistic core.

The likely model, to be a success, would be like the Banyan tree at Botanical Garden, Calcutta, with peripheral branch/roots no main trunk!

Vote for UPA and congress and eventually you will see Karat and Yechuri are ministers in Man Mohan Singh ministry. Man Mohan already said he like to go with the left.

Also the Gandi family will get another chance to screw this nation?

Stop the 80 year olds from running the country.
by Guest on Apr 18, 2009 03:02 AM

If you think they are too wise and too smart make them deputy PMs but not PMs. PMs need to make decisions - sometimes by instinct. These guys can think, think and think - but can't do a simple thing. Poeple their age have retired in Russia, USA, France, Israel and everywhere else. Stop ruining the country. Retire these old folks and save India.

It will cause embarassment and we will loose credibility in world

rethinking in SY's comments mean that they will scrap the deal. This is to demonstrate that CPI's ego has been hurt.
Now that we have imported 17tons of crude Uranium from Russia and France and that already a quarter of it being purified to Yellow cake to be used for power generation, imagine how costly it would be to recapture the used yellow cake and send it back to France and Russia. We will hurt frienships with every western coutry and credible 'asian power'.
Keeping this in mind, SY wants China to succeed than his mother country. Why this JNU trashbag ended in Parliament. My message to JNU folks, dont elect SFI folks as your student leaders. this is what will happen.

We don't need to fear anybody to take decision in India's interest. If it is not done it is a proof that we lost our sovereignty. The N-deal is the biggest betrayal in Indian history. If it is against India's interest we should evoke it. No matter who signed it and with whom. Further we should them for treason who sold India for a pittance. Ram's posting is an indication that the undue haste was with ulterior motives. Let all the facts be thrown open to the people. Everything was done behind iron curtain. Let LAW takes its own course.
