Media too playing divisive politics

Media too playing divisive politics
I have an observance about media playing divisive politics like our politicians. I have always observed that any criminals, whether for robbery, rape or murder , when caught from a minority community, they are masked with black clothes. Most recent being today's example. The guys who raped the American have been shown with their faces. They got defamed for life now. But the 5 robbers caught, who conducted robbery in 27 houses, being from minority community, are masked with black clothes. I strongly condemn this divisive attitude of the media. A criminal is a criminal from any community, from any country, from any caste or creed. I think every criminal's face should be published in newspaper & television so that people can stay alert from him.

BJP has an upperhand in UP LS Seats
by vijaya kumar on Apr 17, 2009 10:57 AM

In UP people are now fed up with Maya, Mulayam & Amar Singh. In the last by-election of assembly Maya lost due to low percentage of voting and Upper cast voters /Brahmins stayed indoor and not come to vote. Now the upper caste voters who voted for BSP are drifting away from BSP and this LS election they are going to vote for BJP. Thakur vote bank is also shifting to BJP. Congress is only in few gandhi family seats. Wind has already started in UP in favour of BJP and its alliance with Ajit Singh Lokdal also help BJP to get more kissan vote and more seats. Middle class and salaried class are happy with the proposal of BJP to exempt upto 3.00 lakh from Income Tax and other welfare measures declared in the Manifesto of BJP. Moreover price rise of daily need items/food items & Varun Gandhi episode would also have some impact in the voting pattern. It will be a 3 way neck and neck fight between BJP, SP and BSP in U.P this time with BJP having an upper-hand. This is the ground situation in UP now.

Both Jaya & Karunanidhi are opportunists
by mallaiah anchoori on Apr 17, 2009 07:50 AM  | Hide replies

Both Jayalalitha of AIDMK & Karunanidhi of DMK are crooks & opportunists of the first order and are not be taken on the face value of what they speak. Both of them had perfected the art of fooling the people of Tamilnadu which is quite evident from the fact that the state is alternatively getting influenced influenced by both & returning the reigns power accordingly each time.Jayalalitha is talking as if hers is the only party to decide as to who should be the prime minister. Her concern not for the nation & only for her state-Tamilnadu.Her parochial outlook gets at once vented out when she speaks that she would pick up a person who would delver the goods to her state forgetting that the prime minister is for the country as a whole and for a particular state.Does she indirectly mean that only a Tamilian should be the PM?Even if were to be so,the PM rightly belongs to the entire nation & should be interested in development of the country as a whole. The same Jayalaltha may fiddle to the tunes of Congress Party if it does not support her political rival- Karunanidhi. For once Bardan spoke sensible when he said that both BJP & Congress are "trying to create a bi-party system"Both of then feel that the only other party is its opponent ignoring the presence & other players who too do matter in present political scenario.Even coming together of the AIDMK & the left parties is a political expediency which people are well aware.Every one knows,Jaya a brahmin by caste likes BJP intensely
