It is good that the apex court has released MrVarun which would enable him now to file his nomination papers and also to campaign for his constituency.Mrs Mayavati did wrong in putting allegations against him under the NSA. Till very recently, Mayavati used to make hate speeches against the Upper castes, particularly the Brahmins in the U.P. See the news papers during the time of her mentor the late Kanshiram how their speeches are against the upper caste Hindus. It is only to capture power, she has shown some hope to Upper caste Hindus in the last U.P. elections and became the C.M.. What are the good things she did after assuming the C.M. post ? The supreme court should have questioned the Dt court as to how NSA could be applicable in Varun's case. It is gross misuse of power by the Mayavati government. Let us wish good luck to young and dynamic Varun.

These sikhs should have migrated long back like the millions of hindus did in pakistan. this is no news as i said before, do you find any mention of it in any global news paper, because people will say why the sikhs are living there in first place?

You are right. He should have kept himself inside jail till elections are over. Even if he looses elections he would be in better political condition.
