It seems ever since the 'boot'ing of 'Bush' in Iraq had occurred, it has become a fashion all around with fanatics or eccentrics to throw boots/chappals etc. to gain cheap publicity. Such irate people are ruining the name and fame of their countries and societies.
I do not agree with this way of expressing anger over LK Advani. LK Advani has done a lot of harm to our country and is aiming to become a prime minister though he should have been in jail for all the heinous crimes he has commited so far. It will be very unfortunate if he becomes our prime minister. But regardless, if he does become PM, then we would have to bend our head realizing that our PM was beaten by chappal in public. So we should not do such actions in public and instead retort to non violent tactics of Mahatma Gandhi to express our dissatisfaction or anger.

ya right..but in your dreams.Advani only has big heart to steal government wealth and enjoy high power. He is the probably the worst thing that happened to Indian politics
It was very shameful, act of throwing slipper at such a noted personality, whom we do pooja... The person who has done this henious crime should be prosecuted. It is a slipper not on Shri Adwani ji but me,, i being a devotee of Shri Adwani ji. Iam really feeling sorrow and hurt.. by this shameless act..,, in future he will be also wearing a slippers garland..that is sure... God won't leave ..any act un-fulfilled....he will also reap the same fruits..what he has done in this present juncture..

THERE IS NO PERSONALITYS IN DEMOCRACY, DEMOCRACY IS TO SERVE THE NATION AND ITS PEOPLE. ONLY PUBLIC SERVATS COUNTS IN DEMOCRACY
* I pay TAXES. * With them I buy CIVILIZATION. But almost all Indian politicians (Sonia, Maya, Jaya, Pawar, Lalu, Advani etc) conceal their WEALTH in election affidavits to EVADE taxes.

When PC is magnomious enough to pardon singh LKA got that man arrested. I don't know what will happen to that man. That is the difference between BJP and Congress. Congress is able to differentiate between lunatics and a sane person and treat them accordingly BPJ couldn't do that becasue they are all insane.
Jarnail's hurled a shoe at Home Minister to highlight the genuine anguish of the Sikh community who dint get justice since 1984 riots. But these other shoe/chappal hurling acts are cheap publicity stunts and need to be condemned. Further more Jarnail dint intend to hurt or insult the minister he was just highlighting the anguish of a suffering community.
This is very unfortunate that leader like Mr. Advani are getting slippers from an opportunist party member. Now-a-days it is a tread to highlight one’s grudge by throwing his slippers to a well reputed figure so that his message can come in light and he can humiliate them (Specifically targeted person). Here is my question, can he achieve any fruitful consequence by doing such ruthless action. One consequence is obvious that he will be popular especially in his community. But does he want this only or something else? This incident becomes popular in India when a journalist threw his shoe to Finance Minister Mr. Chitambaram. He conveyed the message to Congress Party that they have not forgotten Sikh Issue. As a result, Congress Party forced two party members to withdraw their participation in election. So it can be consider an fruitful consequence from the Journalist’s point of view.
