The culture of a country -- any country -- is decided by the lives of its people. I am afraid India does not qualify as being civilised. Sixty years after we became independent, a majority of our population still defecates in the open air, but this doesn't bother the civilised upper classes of the country.

Most are genuine; but in your life time you can do something good about atleast 0.00001 of these things and you might attain salvation.

For him better place is Pakistan where he need not worry about anything he has mentioned here. Because he will get better education/treatment there in Madarsa about terrorism and once he is brain washed he need not be bother about these.

Whatever you said is largely true, i accept that. But India was never like this my friend.
It's the British who transformed this heaven on earth into what it is today. Infact Europe till 18th century was far worst then what India is today. I do not want to go in detail of all that, however we are trying to improve upon whatever you have pointed out and we have done exceptionally well since independence. It's a matter of few more decades: we will be back, i hope.

Nehrus have donated Anand Bhavan to Congress in every generatio right from Motilal to Rajiv. But, till today, the papers of the house mention that it belongs to Nehru family only and not to Congress.

Feroze was born into a Parsi family in Bombay in 1912. He was the son of Jehangir Faredoon and Ratimai. He studied in Allahabad at Ewing Christian college and later at London School of Economics, which he quit when he joined the fredom struggle. Feroze Faredoon was adopted by Mahatma Gandhi and took the name Feroz Gandhi. He was a freedom fighter, lawyer, edtor of National Herald and an able parliamentarian even criticizing the Government of his father-in-law and beginning a tirade against corruption e.f Ram Krishna Dalmia who was trying to use slush funds to take over Bennet Coleman of Times of India fame or the Haridas Mundhra LIC scandal which led to the resignation of Nehru's Finance Minister TTK Krishnamachari. Dont just slander people without knowing anything. I am no fan of puppet PM Manmohan or the Nehru-Gandhi faily or the Congres, but the kind of tripe you have written is wrong and slanderous.

Dude what I've written is an excerpt from a book which was written by some Mathai (secretary of Nehru). What is the source of info you have. I'm not against correcting my knowledge provided the piece on info is not part of the misinfo Kangressies have created over the decades.

EXAMPLE-Indian Express Dec12,2008 on the 51st anniversary of the LIC-Mundra-TTK scandal
“From December 1957 to February 1958, the sensational Mundhra scandal was at the centre of the political stage. It led to the resignation of T. T. Krishnamachari and shook the Nehru government”. Press got wind of the tainted transactions made reports on the “questionable” shares bought by LIC. To a parliamentary question about these press report, the finance ministry gave a written answer that was technically correct but factually disingenuous. Later, at the Chagla Inquiry this became TTK’s undoing. The deliberately misleading answer infuriated Feroze Gandhi. After painstakingly investigating the whole affair, he initiated the December 16 debate. So devastating was his exposure of wrongdoing and so voluminous the support to him by other MPs, that Nehru spoke of the “majesty of Parliament” and announced a judicial inquiry. Chagla, who later became ambassador to the US and external affairs minister, lived up to his high reputation for fair play. However, he was also inclined to play to the gallery. His findings were that the investment was lacking in propriety and contrary to rules of business. Instead of buying the shares at the stock exchange at prevailing prices, the huge transaction was put through in a hurry at “prices negotiated with Mundhra”. The commission endorsed Feroze Gandhi’s charge that some of the shares Mundhra had passed on to the LIC were forged.
