We all want change to NDA, UPA has given whatever they were having in their basket, But unable to understand why BJP is called non-secular, their MPS are coming with election process not like Talibanis. Is it not an insult to democratic voters.

Atalji's appeal to Indian voters
by CongressIN on Apr 16, 2009 02:51 AM  | Hide replies

My Dear Fellow Citizens,

The decisive hour for electing the 15th Lok Sabha is upon us. Today, our nation is confronted by serious challenges of every kind. To successfully meet these challenges the nation needs a strong government and a determined leader. A government that by means of good governance, can ensure security for and rapid development of our country – a promise that has been made and will be delivered by Shri LK Advani.

I am unable to meet all of you due to poor health. However, I am grateful to you for the belongingness and affection that you have showered upon me. What perturbs me much more than my own health is the health of my India. The cure for that lies in your firm resolve.

Shri Lal Krishna Advani and I have been working together since 1952. His unblemished character and resolute personality have shown like a light torch in Indian politics. He is skilful in the art of taking up challenges and overcoming them. He is a compassionate human being and an exceptional leader whose best is yet to come. I firmly believe becoming the Prime Minister of India will bring out the best in him.

contd

I appeal to all of you, especially to the youth of our country, to extend your wholehearted support, assistance and mandate to the BJP and its allied parties. Only Advaniji is capable of fulfilling the dream that both of us have seen together. Adavaniji can provide a new direction to the governance of this country so that we create an India that is devoid of poverty, hunger, despair and injustice.

I invite you to join me in taking a firm resolve to create a strong government under the determined leadership of Shree Advani for a strong and prosperous India. This will only happen when you make the candidates of BJP and its allies from your region victorious.

Thank you,

Atal Behari Vajpayee

my dear vajpayee,

I appreciate your appeal and your effort to provide a character certificate to Shri Shri rathyatri Advani.

I always have high regards for you.

However, I may not say same thing about Advani.

I still can not understand why Advani continues to deny the fact that he was not aware of your decision to send Jaswant as "escort" to terrorists during Khandar crisis?

Did you not take Advani into confidence?

Did you keep Advani out of such a critical decision ?

Why did you keep Advani away from such decision?

Did you not have enough faith on Advani for sharing this information?

Or, is Advani lying now?

If Advani is lying then why should he do so?

I know you "never lied" in your life time, except perhaps about that episode when you led British police to the hideouts of the freedom fighters. But that was a long time time ago. People have very short memory.

But I just can not understand about this khandar episode.

Who is lying?

You or Advani.

Please help me understand.

Regards

your ever loving

Prabhat MOHANTY

Well asked !! If Atalji had been fighting this election, as a man of full integrity, he would have easily towered over the rest. But as you rightly stated, unless the basic doubts are cleared from the minds of the electorate, it would be difficult
to accept Advaniji as the next PM. Is it also true that your government paid a ransom of US$5 crore to secure the release of hijacked passengers from Kandahar ? If so, why did Advani did not share this information with the fellow Indians till date & left it to a Congressman to expose it ?

We have politicians who create regional and religious hatred, politicians who oppose projects like Tata Nano for political gains.

We can change our political system by voting for the right person and persuading/educating people around you to vote for the right person.

Loksatta led by Jayaprakash Narayan(Former IAS)is the only party which said it will not use
1) Money
2) Liquor
3) Religious hatred
4) Regional hatred to win in elections.

It is the only party which said it will not go for strikes to protest against government polocies but will protest in a democratic way.

For a country like India which has a 1100 MW power deficiency importing nuclear technology for power generation is very important. Loksatta is the only party which was not part of the UPA (ruling coilation) which supported the Nuclear deal and urged other parties to support the deal which is very essential for our country.

When govt increased fuel prices because of the increased prices in gulf countries all oppositon parties did unfruitful works like using bullock carts to goto assembly. But loksatta is the only party which said we should reduce our dependency on oil (petrol) we should start using unconventional resources and fuel efficient technologies.

It is the only party which talks about providing good education and health facilities, infrastructure.

Let us all contribute by voting for the right person and campaign for parties like Loksatta which have great principles

Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Wednesday appealed to people to support his colleague and the NDA’s prime ministerial candidate LK Advani and vote the NDA to power.

Vajpayee, who is not contesting the poll, asked people to take a pledge “to elect the determined leader and decisive Government — which the BJP has promised and Advani will fulfil”, according to the text of his appeal.

Giving Certificates to each other
by Anurag Mishra on Apr 15, 2009 09:36 PM  | Hide replies

For the last few days - congis are giving certificates to each other. First, Priyanka saying Rahul is a good PM material although MMS is working fine. If he is fine where is need for a change for that matter?
Second, Rahul is saying MMs is shere - e - Punjab etc and a very good administrator.
Third, MMS is saying Rahul can be PM
Fourth, Priyanka saying MMS is as good as Mahatma Gandhi
Fifth, both Priyanka and Rahul saying Sonia Gandhi is very nice lady.

It is strange that this family has taken the 1.2 billion people of this country for granted. Is it a Rajshahi where the Raja will decide who will be the next king.
For the simple reason that due to the political compulsion of this family related to the ongoing electoral process, Priyanka and Rahul are protecting MMS, otherwise they are giving clear hints to MMS to relinquish seat in case there is a chance for UPA after 16th May. He would be used, misused and thrown after the elections are over.

Rahul & priyanka gives a damn to Sardarji. It is only for public gumption that few good things are spoken otherwise Rahil by refusing to work under him as minister showed what he thinks of this puppet.Priyanka has crossed all limits of madness by comparing a bureaucrat who got his chair thanks to madam with Gandhi who was undisputed leader of 30 crore people.
