time to vote
by rajaneesh sar on Apr 15, 2009 12:21 PM

It time to vote but take a Conscious call before voting for the next government.
Few observations about last government
a) UPA comprised of lot of political ambitions like Sharad pawar, Lalu yadav, Ramvilas paswan, Left, PMK etc.... any combination with lot of their self interest creates problems in taking decisions.
b) Security is a major concern after Mumbai attack and prior to that all the bomb blast
c) Economy got shattered
d) Price rise is a major concern
e) Alignment with political parties like RJD, LJP,SP,PDP, NC etc.... which doesnot have a economic agenda for the state or country itself is a big concern as they lack vision
f) Prime Minister is not effective, sometimes you need to autocratic which he is not due to lot of compulsions like Congress party workers only feels Sonia gandhi is their boss not Manmahon singh and other parties also don’t care about him.

The final judgment is we have to take a call on previous government records whether we want the same govt again or not? If you feel they have not done anything then throw them out. If you cannot then you yourself needs to be blamed for your state of affairs.

Rediff Moderatpr,

don't you have mother and sister. One Mr. Raghuvir is using abusive language and you published his letter, whereas scores of letters written in decent language are taken out by you. In this case, I had to report abuse for taking out Raghuvir's abusive letter.

I am at a loss to understand the policy of rediff moderator in deciding abusive language. What yardstick you follow, only God knows!

If Congress has done so much for the poor of this country why the party do not have any presence in the poorest states i.e. Bihar, UP, Orissa, MP?

If congress is fighting on 'development' poll plank, why the hell all the good roads we've today are the projects started in NDA time?

Bihar : the guide of india
by ganga shipping on Apr 15, 2009 12:13 PM

gentlemen the present government of Mr. Nitish Kumar and BJP has shown the path to be taken for progress , harmoney and prosperity. They have done very-very well on improving Law n order , infrastructure, social sectors like health services and education etc. In many areas Bihar , under the present government , may be well ahead of others VERY UNLIKE unruly rule of RJD, LALU and his party. CONGRESS is the biggest culprit for the sorry state of our state as they have ruled single handedly for nearly 44 years and for 15 years in collaboration with LALU. It is them who are responsible for the present CRIMINALISATION and SWISS Money / BLACK MONEY culture.
Therefore , gentlemen , i request you all to kindly persuade others to vote and you also vote for the NDA so that all other states of India can follow the path of Bihar which is trying to be like GUJRAT in near future.

Hope that you will get a taste of Improvement, development rather then caste and greed

NGOs, Teesta spiced up Gujarat riot incidents: SIT
by tiger singh on Apr 15, 2009 11:57 AM  | Hide replies

NEW DELHI: The Special Investigation Team responsible for the arrests of those accused in Gujarat riots has severely censured NGOs and social

activist Teesta Setalvad who campaigned for the riot victims.

In a significant development, the SIT led by former CBI director R K Raghavan told the Supreme Court on Monday that the celebrated rights activist cooked up macabre tales of wanton killings.

Many incidents of killings and violence were cooked up, false charges were levelled against then police chief P C Pandey and false witnesses were tutored to give evidence about imaginary incidents, the SIT said in a report submitted before a Bench comprising Justices Arijit Pasayat, P Sathasivam and Aftab Alam.

The SIT said it had been alleged in the Gulbarg Society case that Pandey, instead of taking measures to protect people facing the wrath of rioteers, was helping the mob. The truth was that he was helping with hospitalisation of riot victims and making arrangements for police bandobast, Gujarat counsel, senior advocate Mukul Rohtagi, said quoting from the SIT report.

Rohtagi also said that 22 witnesses, who had submitted identical affidavits before various courts relating to riot incidents, were questioned by the SIT which found that they had been tutored and handed over the affidavits by Setalvad and that they had not actually witnessed the riot incidents.

typical "secular" congress tactic to spoil bjp's image. Modi was given good rankings by Rajiv Gandhi Foundation in 2005. It created panic in congress party leading to the resignation of one director.
That's our secular congress. They did more damage to India than all the previous rulers put together.

the tikdam of lalu, paswan and rabri in bihar, mulayam, amar singh and mayawati in up, shibu soren in jharkhand, sonia and rahul in delhi---should be nicely packed and thrown in the arabian sea.after that, see the rapid development india makes.these arseholes have ruined india.people should really take sonia in raebareliy and rahul in amethi and ask them what development they have done in the respective consttituencies in spite of the fact that these two places have been nurtured by the nehru gandhi family for the past 60 years.and the stupid priyanka has the cheek to say that rahul is a prime ministerial material and supported by our great sardar ! what a shame !! Jaga India jago !
