it seems that LKAji mah is making action replay of sonia gandhi. sacrificing. but there is a vast difference between sonia and LKAji mah. sonia gandhi did not want to takeover the congi after the death of her husband. she did not even leave india to go to italy, inspite of threats for arrests in the bofors issue. she stood her ground even during the mudslinging done by bbjjpp and still did not take over congi. she took the reins of congi when it was in the worst position. even during the elections she did not potray herself as PM candidate (as is being done by many parties third and fourth fronts and that too shamelessly). and when the time came for her to become PM she chose Dr MMS as PM. IN THIS WAY SHE SAVED THE SHAVING OF HEAD BY A SENIOR BBJJPP FEMALE LEADER. by calling Dr MMS as kathputhli, weak etc by some leaders, the praise goes to her that she is the most effective leader. there are leaders who call her itaaliaan beeeach which shows the respectibilities the leaders of the opposition has. one of the leaders merely drumbeated this throughout his elections campaign and incited the voters whether they would like to work under I beeach.

i've been unfortunate enough to be physically present at two bomb blasts and have seen the warped and twisted train coaches immediately after the blast within two metres distance.
i've been out in the water on the day water flooded Mumbai.
And i think that is nothing compared to the slow painful death that drought striken villagers get in central India.

24/7 News Network: The Special Investigation Team (SIT), appointed by the Supreme Court, has severely pulled up Social Activist Teesta Setalvad and several other NGOs for cooking up stories on Gujarat riots. The SIT led by former CBI Director RK Raghavan, told the apex court that Teesta and the NGOs, have falsely fabricated the stories of killing and violence including the killing of a pregnant woman and his foetus, which never took place. The SIT also exonerated then police chief P C Pandey.
According to the SIT, Teesta had cooked up stories, levelled false charges and then came up with false witnesses to give evidences about imaginary incidents. While, PC Pandy was helping the victims of Gulbarg Society case, Teesta and the NGOs accused him of inciting the mob.
The SIT also revealed that at least 22 witnesses, who had submitted affidavits related to Gujarat riots had nothing to do with the incidents and were tutored by Teesta Setalvad. It was Teesta, who handed over the affidavits to them.
The SIT found several incidents raked up by Teesta and her supporter NGOs as fake and fabricated. Prominent among them was the gangrape of a pregnant Muslim woman Kausar Banu by a mob, who allegedly gouged out the foetus with sharp weapons. The SIT concluded that such an incident never occurred.
The SIT also termed the stories like dumping of dead bodies into a well by rioters at Naroda Patiya and the police involvement in the killing of British Nationals.

A complete deathly silence from the "seuclar" camp on the unfolding events.... it throws to the winds the exciting fashionable theories about what might have happened, which, with increasing "Chinese Whispers" finally became the ultimate truth which all and sundry started quoting on forums and election speeches.
When these fashionable theories / perceived truths have been jolted, the complete absence of any "secular defense" on this forum surprises me, to say the least..
Or maybe, given the herd mentality of those detractors, I shouldn't have been surprised anyway.... :)
