Setalvad in dock for 'cooking up killings' 14 Apr 2009, Economic Times Bureau
NEW DELHI: The Narendra Modi baiters among NGOs on Monday suffered a major setback when a Supreme Court-appointed special investigation team (SIT) charged a leading activist, Teesta Setalvad, with adding morbidity into the post-Godhra riots in Gujarat by “cooking up macabre tales of killings”.
SIT headed by former CBI director R K Raghavan said “many incidents were cooked up, false witnesses were tutored to give evidence about imaginary incidents, and false charges levelled against the then Ahmedabad police chief P C Pandey”.
Sit report, which was submitted before a bench comprising Justices Arijit Pasayat, P Sathasivam and Aftab Alam, said there was no truth in some of the major allegations levelled by NGOs. According to the report, the untruths included: A pregnant Muslim woman Kausar Banu was gangraped by a mob, who then with sharp weapons gouged out the foetus; Dumping of dead bodies into a well by rioters at Narora Patiya; and n Police botching up investigation into the killing of British nationals who were on a visit to Gujarat.
SIT also said the charge that Mr Pandey was helping mob that attacked the Gulbarga Society was untrue. “The truth was that he was helping hospitalisation of riot victims and making arrangement of police bandobast,” senior counsel Mukul Rohatgi said.

ohh yes...My father was a OBC ..his was the first generation who could ever go to school built in a farway village by congressman who was a staunch nehru supporter...I never used the reservation...topped all my exams ..topped one of the most prestigious entrance exams and still people ask my caste when they listen to my surname ...and all...absolutely all of the so called educated who have digged in to my caste till now turn out to be staunch RSS supporters....so much so for there so called hindutva.....I have seen and experienced that RSS is more castist than any Sps or BSPs of the world.... It does not and would never ever represnt the true spirit of India..the only hope faded away with exit of A.B vajpayee..what remains are Hindu talibans

thats a figment of your imagination mr. benjamin; i am not really happy with your answer; may be you live in goa and care a damn about the seriousness of this issue.
None of the question which modi put here is of any sense... i ask one small simple and straight question.. what did the bjp do to seize kashmir from paki. Nothing..infact they had one chance in kargil war to go ahead with the attack but they didnt use it. after parliament attack they put huge forces on the borders at the cost of crores of rupees and then sent them back. modi or bjp is one weakest party i have ever seen in this world. in their regime parliament was attacked, temples were attacked, incursions took place...but these fools were busy in selling coffins
