Is it what we call our values???
by South Indian on Apr 15, 2009 08:37 AM

Modi on elderly women
Modi was equating Congress on an elderly women. Going ahead he said being elderly it is burden on the country and should "depart" for the sake of nation!! That is his attitude to old women of this nation, our mothers and grandmothers I guess. what he meant was old ladies are useless and the soon they die it is good because it takes away the burden of family... someone should be really monster to think so!!!
What kind of message it is??? Is it our tradition?? These are our values???

Anti-Hindu congress must lose.

VOte Sonia Congress out.. Slavery party must go. They wanted to destroy 'ram setu' and even questioned the existence of Lord Ram, while they proclaim that 'Saint Thomas visited India in A.D. 52 and converted high class people.. even when Pope says Thomas never visited India.. So why is Sonia Congress so much against Hindu beliefs and supporting Xian claims?

Ahmedabad: The first list of 21 candidates announced by the BJP yesterday has many surprises that even many BJP leaders in the state find difficult to fathom.
The most striking surprise is that the party has fielded three candidates who figured prominently in the multi-crore cooperative banks scams, which left thousands of depositors penniless.

Two of the three candidates were arrested and jailed for a few months till they were granted bails by the courts.

The three candidates are: CR Patil from Navasari, Deepak Sathi from Anand and Prabhatsinh Chauhan from Panchmahal Lok Sabha seats.

"I just cannot believe that such scamsters can be BJP candidates in Gujarat," a senior BJP leader said ruefully. He added that this shows that the party considers only criterion of winnability of the candidate and nothing else.

WHAT IS BJP PARTY A GOON OR SCAMSTERS

Thanks for the views, but what you said is all on paper. All politicians are money making machines and forget the citizens, who voted them to power.
We all instead of getting hatred politics or talks should, work on getting every child to school, every senior citizen the social benefits,a home for every homeless, better infrastructure for all fellow citizens and say welcome to a 'Strong India,Real India'..Jai Hind

Laudable effort by Modiji==regarding 25 lakh crore black money
by Kamadhenu on Apr 14, 2009 07:43 PM  | Hide replies

As per todays news paper report on Times of India ,Ahmedabad ,Mr Narendra Modi ,CM of Gujarat is taking opinion vote from people from 2000 mobile vote counters from people of Gujarat and then to all India basis regarding fact of Indian black money in forign banks .His effort is laudable and he clearly says that this has no relation with current election. Iam giving an idea only to New Gov .Only good Gov with genuine intention can perform
Advaniji has started a debate on black money which no body including any political parties dare to raise last 60 years .Time has come now to legalise black money in our system .To bring 800 billion doller from swiss bank except terrorists money is not easy and we can say lot of things during election only but I think Gov should bring a bill towards legalising .We must understand that who ever keeps black money ,keeps for their rainy day ,others commitments like funding to political parties ,donations to all temples ,NGOs only . I am not supporting the fact but it is an untold storey .So we must recognise that Black money also hard earned money(means require skills and top class CAs to create black money) .To legalise black money Gov should give tax shop for a period say 3 years who ever declare and bring back money to India .Or alternatively Who ever invest black money to Gov bonds will get 2% interest annually of the total amount for a period of say 10 years without getting the principal ammount .Time has come now to about black money

Any good scheme from BJP is bad for media
by Hog Jog on Apr 14, 2009 07:42 PM  | Hide replies

Yeddyurappa’s budget had encouraging news for several sections of the population — farmers, high school students, officials, researchers, patients, alike.

The decision to send 1000 farmers abroad on a study tour will expose them to different types of farming methods. Further a provision of Rs 750 crores as a support price for farm produce is good news.
Yeddi has given a fillip to ornamental fishery and has given an impetus to the establishment of goshalas for the protection of milch cattle. Extending free power to farmers with upto 10 HP pumpsets, introducing e-tendering to bring in transparency, allotting Rs 2 crore for reviving the river Arkavathy and establishing 500 foot bridges in the Malnad to bring connectivity to remote villages, are all heartening to note.

CM also deserves to be congratulated for providing free health insurance to poor families. Another noteworthy point, is the support given to the development of sandalwood cultivation, green villages and medicinal plants

BJPs Novel scheme – What did congress do in 60 years ZERO
by Lopesh S on Apr 14, 2009 07:40 PM  | Hide replies

Ladli Laxmi Yojana scheme was started by the BJP government in MP in 2006. In a very short time, it has proved to be one of the most successful social welfare schemes in the history of the state.

Under the scheme, the state government buys saving certificates of Rs 6,000 each year for five consecutive years for every girl born in a family.

The girl gets Rs 2,000 after she completes her Class 5, another Rs 4,000 after she completes Class 8, Rs 7,500 after she completes the Class 10, Rs 200 per month in her 11th standard and a lumpsum amount of Rs 1,18,000 after she enters the 12th standard or, alternatively, attains the age of 18.

The principal aim of the scheme is to eliminate school dropout among girl students and to encourage them to study at least upto pre-college level.

This is what I (as an Indian) call development of girl child; unfortunately no media will project this, but will project BJP as T@liban if some Sene beats a girl who goes to a pub only coz it happened in a state ruled by BJP. This bias is going to be the undoing of the Congress
