Rubbish....
by Sam on Apr 13, 2009 12:19 PM

If any elections are getting better in India. It's just that under Congress rule, news never got out, which it does these days. So, we get to know more about what's going around. In fact this in itself is a reassuring fact in our democracy. Yes, I believe media is very biased today toward Congress and Left; but there will be corrections there too! Believe it or not, pendulum swings hard on both directions before attaining a state of rest! So, commies, and Congies, today you have an upper hand in Media. Rest assured tomorrow you'll be on the bottom end of the wheel. At least show respect to the law of nature, and be just and reasonable when you are enjoying this undue privilege!

EC is going through tough phase itself. There will me normalizations there too!

Long Live India,
Sam

Standards ????

EC Wake up or sleep for ever.before you speak about standards, first set standards for your councel and then speak about others. how can you expect standards when corrupt and criminal back ground candidates are allowed to contest elections. if policitial parties cant follow why dont you follow? EC being governing body how can you allow someone with criminal background to file and contest? you must not bend to any political pressure, the day you show resistence system will be followed and no one would dare to take a step outside laid down rules and regulations.

i would say standards have been modified or overlooked since the independance. no one had history of the money passed to then indian politicians by britishers. since then many irregularities and fading standards took india to this stage. already there are so many surprises and on top if new are added we must not be shocked.

where commitment, honesty lacks, standards do not add any value...........

Falling standard of EC is Worrying: A common man
by Hari on Apr 13, 2009 11:15 AM  | Hide replies

Dear ECs'
The falling standard of EC is only alarming.
EC takes a di at Varun Gandhi even when the poll code was not in place but not at Srinivas and Lalu when the poll code is effective.

EC has people like Navin Chawla whose proximity is even clarified by Chief EC and CEC is threatened by Law minister that he should be worried about his old age.

Everyone knows, the standard of EC. We just live here.
