Re: shabuddin is a criminal

Definitely he is a criminal, otherwise how he would have been punished by life imprisonment. But the sad side is that people of Siwan vote and elect such a criminal and now they will definitely elect his wife. They are all Bengladeshi voters. What to do?
Siwan, Bihar, one of the most controversial constituencies in the country. Please stop making such comments just because of one criminal Shabuddin who happens to be an MP.Siwan produced the first president of India if you happen to know about it.Siwan is much better place to live than Delhi or MUmbai or any other So Called metropoliton cities in India

hey, kudos to iftekhar. further to that, neither one person's name sud malign or glorify any locality. neither Siwan sud be condemned because of Shabuddin, nor it sud be glorified because of Rajendra Prasad. Reason: not majority of population subscribe to the ideology of these icons. If siwan has been really good you sud have seen several greats like Rajendra babu one after another, or if siwan has been really bad you should have seen several shabuddin one after another. but thats not the case. Fact is that the Siwan is like any other rural dist. of India; laborious, tolerant, deprived etc. Most of ppl are farmers and they are certainly lacking a progressive and visionary leader. I'm working in an MNC in blore, but i belong to Siwan. I migrated from there in search of livelihood. Majority of indian cities/dist./villages are forcing ppl to migrate. So Siwan is no exception....

Very sentimental stuff Iftekhar...by the way, Dr Rajendra Prasad was born in village of Chapra, Bihar. Does this fall under Siwan Constituency?

Well said Iftekhar Bhai .... it is really sad that most of the people across India fail to associate Siwan with Rajendra Babu - his birth place and Maulana Mazharul Haque - his karmbhumi ...

Mahmood sahab - Unfortuantely for one bad person the consituency is suffering. The representataives are face of people in the parliament. See Amethi, raibareli, Gandhi Nagar, Saran (Chapra -Lalu Yadav) etc. No one rembebers Rajendra prasad but everyone knows Shahbuddin. The most dreaded criminal. Kick him out and bring peace and prosperity in SIWAN. The name will change

In general I strongly feel that women in India are more responsible, courageous and trustworthy than men.In places like siwan or anyother place in Bihar it is quite risky to have women manning call centers. But kudos to them for doing so.Wishing them all the best.Local crooks can be managed but we have to be careful of international/foreign ones
