Media not supporting the right parties like Loksatta - so let us
by Vote on Apr 13, 2009 10:48 PM

Many of us don't vote Do we have to?

We have politicians who create regional and religious hatred to become politicians; politicians who oppose good projects like Tata Nano for political gains. As most voters in India are uneducated and under educated - they can be easily provoked by religious and regional hatred etc. Many politicians target such people to get their votes.
Only very few of the educated who can judge the politicians, actually vote.
Just criticising our political system and politicians is not going to bring a change. We can bring a change by voting for the right person and persuading/educating people around you to vote for the right person.
Loksatta is the only party which has good principles and agenda and led by a very good
statesman Dr.Jayapraksh Narayan (Former IAS). It is the only party which supports and opposes government based on policies instead of bluntly opposing government like other opposition parties.
I request all of you to vote and encourage people around you to vote.

Please Please check this blog "loksatta-india" to know how worse our politicians are and great ideologies of Loksatta
If we don't support people with right principles they will become extinct in politics then only hatred will rule.

Fate of AP
by UsualSuspect on Apr 13, 2009 10:46 PM

Congress establishment in AP is well known for its corruption. Most of the people join Congress with the only aim of minting money while in power. YSR was lucky to be in power when there were a couple years with good monsoon season in the state, real estate growth (global phenomenon), etc. YSR's schemes are accused of encouraging the labor class to be lazy by rewarding them with guaranteed work for 100 days every year (without monitoring productivity or performance).

For TDP, CBN has done lots of development for the state (brought IT jobs, built flyovers in Hyd, started the Green Hyd initiative, e-Governance initiative, etc) but made the fatal mistake (never saw it coming) of neglecting the farmers that cost him dearly.

Chiru's PRP has had problems right since it started, not to mention trust issues with Chiru and lack of transparency in PRP's organization.

The best bet for the people of AP is still CBN with his decent track record of development, less corruption (compared to Congress), vision for the state, strong administrative skills, etc.

TDP is the only proven development-oriented government
by Guest on Apr 13, 2009 10:02 PM  | Hide replies

If one can reacll our recent history, it was when the TDP was in power in AP, an the NDA at the center, was the only time when we had a semblance of development in the State. CBN rubbed shoulders with the people who matter....Bill Gates, Bill Clinton.....and this translated into the IT revolution in Hyderabad. We owe a lot of our development and recognition in the world of business to CBN.....today, he is forced to adapt the "welfare" measures of the really corrupt Congress to come back to power. But let us give him a chance to get the state and the country back into the world map. We owe it to ourselves.

He lost to Dr. rajashekhar reddy due to his un due support to safron fundamentalists in the state.
muslim will never accept CBN as chief minister again even he did well during his time, india cannot shine without muslim because muslims have given their blood for the independent of india and they cannot be ignored.

nonsense !!
ur blind...not seeing the real congress..they use and dump you all...what have they done for muslims ? just giving some money to travel for Haj is enough for u ? why is ur community not developed at the same rate as others ? the reason is that you all have followed the illogical reasoning of religion rather than logic of development..
On the contrary no other party has done any direct damage to minorities in India...

BJPs Novel scheme – What did congress do in 60 years ZERO
by Lopesh S on Apr 13, 2009 09:58 PM  | Hide replies

Ladli Laxmi Yojana scheme was started by the BJP government in MP in 2006. In a very short time, it has proved to be one of the most successful social welfare schemes in the history of the state.

Under the scheme, the state government buys saving certificates of Rs 6,000 each year for five consecutive years for every girl born in a family.

The girl gets Rs 2,000 after she completes her Class 5, another Rs 4,000 after she completes Class 8, Rs 7,500 after she completes the Class 10, Rs 200 per month in her 11th standard and a lumpsum amount of Rs 1,18,000 after she enters the 12th standard or, alternatively, attains the age of 18.

The principal aim of the scheme is to eliminate school dropout among girl students and to encourage them to study at least upto pre-college level.

This is what I (as an Indian) call development of girl child; unfortunately no media will project this, but will project BJP as T@liban if some Sene beats a girl who goes to a pub only coz it happened in a state ruled by BJP. This bias is going to be the undoing of the Congress

CBN aka Chandrababu Naidu's accomplishments
by New York on Apr 13, 2009 07:36 PM  | Hide replies

0. Ramalinga Raju (paid 20 crores to Stanford for CBN's son Lokesh admission)
1. Dumped Congress (he was Minister in its Govt)
2. BJP (supported Vajpayee Govt. Now calls BJP Anti-social Party),
3. NTR (announced that he will contest against NTR as Congress candidate, lost MLA election, joined NTR's TDP, later back-stabbed him to become CM of AP. NTR dies of agony. btw NTR is his father-in-
law),
4. Lakshmi Parvathi (introduced her to NTR and used her as an excuse to back-stab NTR)
5. Jaya Prada (He used her against Renuka Chowdary and later dumped her)
6. Renuka Chowdary (She called him a pick-pocket in an interview.)
7. Ramamurthy Naidu (called CBN a fraud, btw he is CBN's own brother)
8. Hari Krishna (NTR's son. CBN used him to back-stab NTR and later dumped him. Later he set up Anna TDP)
9. Daggupati (along with CBN back-stabbed NTR and later dumped him. Now he is in Congress party)
10. Devender Goud (Used this Telanga leader against TRS Telangana movement. Now he is in PRP)

Now in CBN queue to be dumped
1. Balakrishna (NTR's son. CBN used him to back-stab NTR)
2. JuNTR (Hari Krishna illegal son. CBN is trying to use him because resembles NTR)
3. Tarakaratna (NTR's grandson. Now using him to canvas for him in the pretext of saving TDP)
4. CPI, CPM (Ordered police firing on them at Hyderabad during electricity charges agitation. Now colluded with them)
5. TRS (now in queue to be used and dumped).

Let us recognize this is the real world, not some Utopia. When NTR was dumped CBN did us the greatest favor in the world. He was the trashiest CM we ever had, no sense of economics, and we were done the best favor when he was hounded out of power. Let us give CBN a standing ovation for that.

when CBN became CM he was not so rich but after completing one term he was counted as crorepati, how he got this wealth - is there any one to assess and give correct information. CBN is a very dangerous man, he know how to change party and play an opportunist role, he is a playboy.

The unchecked conversion menace
by Lopesh S on Apr 13, 2009 06:57 PM  | Hide replies

In the last five years, Andhra Pradesh has become a bastion of the the Christians. In Coastal AP, there is a church every 1 km now - and people being enticed with bags of rice and money. CM YSR Reddy's son-in-law, Anil Kumar, is one of the bigger evengelists. These conversions have happened brazenly and no Hindu encouraged to raise voices. In any case, the Congress is a "secular" party, so anything anti-Hindu is music to its ears.

In Orissa, similar moves by the missionaries is being met tooth for tooth by the Hindus.

Hindus NEVER make the first move in any matter (this is known to everyone). Whether its a good thing or something that needs correction - is another matter. Fact is, we always REACT.

And in Karnataka, Orissa - Hindus have taken up cudgels and hit back against this horrifying practice.

Christians are pathologically evangelical. In trains/buses with co-travellers, in public places - these guys are always upto praising the lord (nothing wrong with that) but subtly or not-so-subtly running other religions down (specially Hinduism). I personally have been "caught" up with these guys twice - one has to admire their fanatical resolve and blind faith. And the biggest evangelists are the recent converts. As they say "naya mussalmaan zyada pyaaj khata hai"!!!

This is becuse the Christianity is loosing its grip over people in the west. SO they are finding safe heavens in India. I am least bothered, because the religion itself will not survive longer let alone in India...

On January 29, 2009, at Bible Mission conference in Guntur in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Chiranjeevi told the Christian audience that he would abolish the G.O. (government order) that banned Christianity preaching in the vicinity of temples. He said he would allow preaching of Christianity in Hindu temples. He is an extraordinary outstanding crook among all the crooked politicians

Chiranjeevi has unfortunately turned out to be the worst chap we could have had come in. Apart from turncoats from other parties, he has no "talent". I know educated, well-meaning people who were denied entry into his party since they could not pay his party the money they were seeking to sell seats! What a waste of an opportunity. Chiranjeevi lost his morals, his opportunity, and is now on the verge of being trashed from politics as well as his films! We lose all ways!
