New York
If you intend to be a RESPONSIBLE citizen,
by New York on Apr 13, 2009 04:27 PM

DESPERATION
85% of Indians are languishing in an informal economy to earn $2 a day so that they can feed a MEAL for their family.
Hence their lives oscillate between DESPERATION and FRUSTRATION.
They will SUCCUMB easily to CORRUPTION and vote in ELECTIONS for 100 rupees BRIBE.

COLLUSION
No TAXES means no CIVILIZATION.
And only 1% of eligible 15% Indians pay Personal INCOME Tax.
India's richest sportsman SACHIN TENDULAR himself is UNCIVILIZED and shamelessly EVADED taxes when he imported FERRARI sports car.

Indians HATE each other and does not want fellow Indian to SUCCEED.
CASTE aka socio-economic collusion is the HIDDEN agenda between any two individuals in Politics, Business, Police and Judiciary.
Since ONLY source of FUNDS for Political Parties is BRIBES from Businesses, they must be LOYAL to them.

SOLUTION
"A country is not made of land; a country is made of its people." -- Unknown

* An armed society is a POLITE society.
* And it is not FEAR that keeps us polite -- it is RESPONSIBILITY.
* Police department gives arms LICENSE for just 100 rupees.
* If you intend to be a RESPONSIBLE citizen, you need to OWN a hand gun in India.

Reading the responses to the above articles, I suddenly have a feeling that there is too much hate-either it is only an election atmosphere that is generating this or every one is just being himself.I find the 2nd option hard to believe because usually such people are totally different when they are in the real world, they actually don`t have any other forms of entertainment but indulge and take pleasure in this virtual world. For once i am noticing a muslim leader talking of development, everyone should join hands in encouraging this man including the hindus in that area.

media the villain
by Irgun Stern on Apr 13, 2009 08:56 AM  | Hide replies

the nellie massacre in assam caused the death of 300 mu$lims. the killers were non-hin00 tribals. but indian media even today blames the massacre on rss/vhp which is totally false. even today the rss or vhp has no presence in nellie, and most of the tribals have converted to xitianity. this things r never highlighted in the media and these issues are pushing the secular section of hind00s to support extremists among the hind00 community.

whome to VOTE for ?
by akmal khan on Apr 13, 2009 08:49 AM  | Hide replies

I guess I am not the only one who feels confused on whome to vote for ? its sadening to see the bank accounts of politcians sweling beyond reasonable extents as published by the EC upon declarations during filing nominations.Next in line are the Criminal record holders. there must be more of these guys than the educated ministers in the Parliament. I have frankly run out of options and am confused on whome to Vote for. The question i am asking myself is , should i vote for a guy who is corrupt and will not disturb my life or should i vote for a voilent criminal and assume i am safe in his custody..

akmal, MIM had been ruling since decades in our area, i feel we should once give chance to zahid ali khan. i dont have any political bend neither baising towards zahid, but once lets give him a chance to see what difference he can bring.
for example, if a new employer joined a company he will work hard & dedicatedly, compared to the senoir staff who works in comfort level.
i personally feel MIM making fools to us, if you hear the speeches of Akbar you will relize that he thinks and wants the people to be uneducated.

I don't want to suggest to vote this party or that party. But one thing is sure. The voters must become more vigilant and not to fall for false promises. They should be able to question the candidates who are contesting the elections. But with the mob strength of candidates, will it be possible for sane voters to question them? A million dollar question.

by MOON MOON on Apr 13, 2009 08:37 AM

Maybe one muzzie politico with a bit of sense. Let's hope he doesnt fall into the gutter of appeasement politics. He shows rightly that the MIM is nothing but a one man outfit which uses themand conveniently forgets them. As he said education alone will make the community become acceptable, as only then they will realise how their community leaders and so called secularists have been taking them for a ride for such a long time. But then so many educated from their community have fallen into the terrorist pit....

Does not Indian people have got an effective “SHOE” tool to teach the Indian insensitive politicians who do not care for their voters for five years after getting elected?
They themselves start dogfight in Parliament & State Assemblies making Indian democracy a mockery then why Indian people should not “SHOE” beat these politicians on the streets.
Really this “SHOE” beat is not creating tremendous fear among the Politicians? Is not it a great achievement?
