Local languages computers would create more jobs and be able to serve the public well. As majority needs the benefit of computer in their local language as it is nearly impossible they learn another language to learn a computer. What do other think this is not important, or should be good servants and only work for foreign problem solving, but forget the masses who too need the benefit of computer. In China computers in Chinese. In Japan Japanese,In Germany German,In French french, In Russia Russia, and these are all progressive countries.But creating more jobs and increasing the accessibility of computers to public is something wrong. What do these English coolies think.

Computer are only useful if everyone on earth knows how to program them .. else it is useless..completely.
It can be used teach math science or modeling then it is good, but we need to be able to think and visualize without computers..they are like crutches which make ppl using it dependent on them..

You have no way to ascertain the authority of sources on internet.
As far as being a communication tool, I will agree to you partly, as ppl have forgotten how to communicate personally, pppl hide behind email and ignore personal responsibility.
For that matter computer and telephone are good tools when there is good personal communication, it is not a replacement for good personal and complete communication.
This message board shows how easy it is to fool Indians and distract them from the main issue. The question here is of the integrity, honesty & sincerity of Mulayam, who is advocating against English/computers on the one hand, and educated his son in an English speaking convent school on the other.He calls his own party 'SP' and not 'Sa Pa'.And when he is criticized, he takes a u-turn and now says it was against making them compulsory!!Why did Amar Singh donate crores to Clinton foundation and not to Indian language speaking Ramakrishna Mission? Instead of discussing about this evil mindedness of politicians, people fight against each other in this message board about Mandarin/BJP/coolie and what not!!No wonder guys like Mulayam get elected 1 million times.

At present political parties take voters for granted. The reason being not every eligile voter casting their vote. Only few a set section of poeple vote. Others, may be unhappy with the system or the present day political senario, do not vote. That turned to be a boon, and leads to bogus voting. To end that practice every eligible voters should and must vote this time and show the power of voters to these political parties. Long live INDIA.
