MMS scared to face Advani for a open TV debate
by gomateswara on Apr 10, 2009 08:46 AM  | Hide replies

A good proposal but not acceptable to PM as he is not a politcian at all. He remembers only Baberi Mosque demolition forgetting that problem started by his party by opening locks of the mosque and remained mute spectator while the demolition was taking place forgets stock market scam when he was FM, 25000 Cr spectrum scandal, 80,000 Cr Satyam Mytas scandal…….. . Since he does not remember who gave taste of emergency to India and who butchered thousands sikhs in 1984 therefore what he is going to debate? Mr.Advani's request for debate to PM is an exercise in futile.

I am sure Congress is not so naive as to give such a lame excuse for not letting Mr. singh to debate Mr. Advani on live TV program. And let the debate happen actually. I am waiting for this "INSTITUTION" of live-public-debate on issues to emerge out of this election. If not anything else.As it is we are heading for a very unstable government ... let these institutions of electoral governance emerge.Voters (citizens) are scrambling for a wholistic view of each political party. And Congress has shrewdly managed the process by not creating such an institution.Even if Advani does not come to power, he will have left a lasting impact on the democracy by enabling the creation of live-public-debate as a major milestone in the national electoral process.

The acquittal of Jagdish Tytler, the prime accused in the anti-Sikh riots of 1984, by the CBI should send shock waves across the country.

The CBI’s proclaimed autonomy is a sham. It sought to close the case in 2007 but had to continue the probe. That a Sikh prime minister can silence his conscience and campaign for the party in Delhi is a sad commentary on the moral fibre of our politicians. The Congress party’s dreams of having a committed judiciary is on the verge of realisation.

For centuries pilgrims have been making the arduous trip to Amarnath cave without Govt help There is a separate Haj cell in the ministry of external affairs. The Haj Committee of India has its own premises in Mumbai. Similarly the State Haj Committees have their own premises in various other Indian cities. These facilities have been built on land provided by the state govt. Every govt in Delhi has ensured that only Muslims are appointed to these posts, a practical decision intended to facilitate their travel to Mecca and Medina, where non-Muslims are not allowed. There is also a separate consul for Haj matters in the Indian consulate general in Jeddah. Contrastingly charter flights are operated directly from 16 airports in India to Saudi Arabia. Returning pilgrims can transport 10 litres of holy Zam Zam water with them free of cost. At Delhi airport there is a separate Haj terminal. To improve the comfort of pilgrims, Air India uses wide-body jets in future for their Haj flights.Immigration formalties are done ar special locations in town and they are directly boarded to aircraft compromising all security norms

Three years back Tytler after become cabinet minister visited New Zealand in the capacity of a Cabinet minister. He was bycotted by Indian community here in the wake of his involvement in 84 riots, and few Sikh Unions threated and challanged him to come out and address any Public meetings in New Zealand. Mr Tytler was hurled abuses at Airport, and asked to go back.
During this trip Mr Tytler never came out of Hotel and went straight back to Airport to fly back after two days. You can guess what sort of visit reports minister would have filed after going back?
How does he get up to think that he is best candidate to fight elections and how does his party deem him fit to be made a MP?
