Its all a farce, that sajjan kumar & tytler withdrew from the race, they were all adamant to fight the election for which they all including all congressmen tried successfully to influence the CBI to block the natural justice & gave a clean chit to them, which the whole world knows that they were murderous culprits. They got the nod from the "Lady", & withdrew to save their faces. Even the "lady" did it to avoid the propaganda associated with it just b4 the elections, or else why dosen't she order the arrest of these murderers even after 25 years. Its a pity that we have a Non-existing PM. a 'stooge' CBI who get influenced & become a tool in the hands of the ruling party years after years ....... God save India

This is just ridiculous political bickering being done at our expense where people like you add fuel to the fire.

What happened after the Indira Gandhi assassination was a politically motivated drama of communal hatred. In fact, the evidence against Tytler in 84 is just as scarce as the evidence against Modi in Godhra. Neither the Congress party nor the BJP have any case of raising these issues based on religion for political gains. What this can do is only divide the voters on religious lines to not pay attention to the things that matter.

What the CBI does should be re-examined by a committee that the BJP and any other opposition party sets up in this case for investigation. Anything less is a farce. Having said that, I would not jump to the conclusion that the Congress party and its "Italian" leader and their "family" are to be blamed.

This is not about family politics and the Indian public sentiment about families ruling the roost. This is about a general election where any Indian can run for elections and hope to win.

final tally
by democracy on Apr 10, 2009 02:38 AM  | Hide replies

Final Tally might be something like this
BJP-145
with allies-Akali,JDU,Shiv sena,AGP etc.
i.e. NDA-145 40=185
Cong-130
with allies-NCP,RJD,LJP,SP,DMK etc. (assuming RJD,SP,LJP,NCP stay together)
i.e. UPA-130 45=175

Others
BSP-35
AIADMK/MDMK/PMK-25
Communists-45
All others (BJD,TDP,PR independents-78

The interesting scenario will be TDP,AIADMK,and even BJD are all anti-cong. they will have to support NDA to keep Cong. out ..and with their sum around 45 NDA comes to 185 45=230...
all others smaller ones and independents will fall for NDA and it comes to power..

This is what i think , don't be abusive..simply write what u think.

QandA QandA
Ask this if you want real change....
by QandA QandA on Apr 10, 2009 02:25 AM  | Hide replies

MMS was appointed by Sonia.. He was never elected by the people.. The Highest
post in office is appointed by a politician.. This is even bad if it was BJP...

This is QandA's request to all the people of India... Demand following things and I can guarantee that the foundations of Security and Prosperity will be laid..

1) PM should be elected by the people..

2) Police Commissioner should be an ADMIN post and should be elected by people just for 2 years

3) Demand for a New Police WIHTOUT ABOLISHNG THE OLD.. The new police should have new dress code and should be Computer literate and should be in the same PIN code.. Let the market (people) decide whether they should go to old or new police

4) No politician should be allowed to stand for election from 2 places (cities)

5) A law should be made to amend the distribution of party tickets which consolidates power in one hand (This could be Sonia or Advani). Rules should be such that the politicians cannot be slaves to a central authority. Otherwise no corrupt authority in India will allow an OBAMA in India

6) Every politician who holds power will HAVE TO COME ON TV ONCE EVERY 6 MONTHS. They will have to entertain questions from random people which should be broadcasted live

7) Schools and Colleges should be taught the Laws and Court proceedings as a compulsory project especially in Muslim and Other minority areas. The emphasis should be on the education of the Constitution of India

1. The Rajya Sabha members are elected by public representatives. If you do not trust your representative, do not vote him/her in. They are the voice of the public and they elect a Rajya Sabha member.

2. I would add that in addition to being an elected ADMIN, he/she should have the right background training at a central Indian Institute.

3. The "local" police idea may backfire in cases where people can get comfortable with their constituency. It sounds good in theory but may not work out as perceived. Good thing to test though at a lower level...

4. YES! No more waste of time and money.

5. I do not agree. A private party has the right to allocate seats as it wishes. You have a problem with that, you start your own party or contest independently. You start with this and then you will end up saying that a private company that is listed cannot hire people as it wishes.

6. Helps visibility and transparency. Agree.

7. They are already taught. I would not go to mandate what needs to be taught at private schools but the basics are taught in schools under civic education.

How come you are having lunch with him. Please tell him that Hindu names are copyrighted and ask him (and his relatives) not to use them in the future. Also, one cannot trust names nowadays. If it is a Hindu name, please verify that the person is truly Hindu before you have lunch with them. Anyway, assuming you are non-telugu, why are you having lunch with a Telugu person. Shame on you.

Every person has a stomach to fill in. Now if my religion doesnt guarantee me food for atleast one time a day as well as even dont allow me equal social status , why do my fellow country men shout at me when i convert to other religion which offers me food and respect. where were you people when my children were dying with food? why didnt u turn up at that time when u saw a H1NDU in pain? n what r u doing now to assure us a peaceful life.

food and respect is offered only at the cost of conversion, they have not offered u food for charity. as far as social status is concerned converted christians are treated similarly as they were treated before when they were SC,ST. And how can ones religion can gurantee u food ? it is u, ur hardwork has to arrange food, and ne 1 offering food with the desire of changing ones religion is doing bigger crime than those ignorant people who are getting converted. They are selling their God in the name of food and respect. There can not be bigger crime than this. Have strength, be man.
Money for food and all comes from abroad to give people like u and convert. There are hindu organization who stands and suppport, but they dont have their bosses sitting in US/UK sending them pounds and dollars to support, so there are limitations.

but if u see in long term this could cause wiping out our culture our religion, other religions are not as open as hinduism , they will try to impose their religion on others. Once that fanaticism reaches tamilnadu then there also it can start. If it can happen in kerala it can happen in tamil nadu also. It might not happen in ur generation, ur child generation , ur grand child generation. Once taht happen we wud be responsible for wiping off our culture and our religion.Real problem is other minority religion should learn to accept different faith, and stop claiming their faith is only true. To hindus all path leads to one God, but that is not the case with different religion.

If all paths lead to one god, what are you complaining about. Nobody is asking you to change your path. If someone else wants to change his or her path for whatever reason (other than force), it is none of your business. There are enough Hindutva lumpen around to make sure that doesnt happen. Your problem is that you are a good old fashioned racist that will justify his racism with imagined rationalisations.
