Atleast a Fresh Air
by krishna kumar on Apr 09, 2009 06:05 PM

I personally don't endorse any party and don't know whether Mr Tytler is innocent or not?.. but atleast throughout all these media airings he has not resorted to any cheap rhetroic like "why no hue and cry against Advani for Babri Masjid demoilition etc" . Atleast he and COngress party seems to be different from BJP and others who always goes back into the past issues whenever they are cornered for their mistakes and draws parallel, comparisons to other part issues.. Eg: When Varun Gandhi made his hate speech- (which is completely derogoratory and makes you wonder if highly educated person like him can resort to such low level policitcs (possibly bcoz he got corruped by BJP idelogies), then infusing fresh highly educated blood is not the answer to our decaying political system) BJP leaders instead of disowning him & correcting a unforgivable attack on social fabric, resorted to blame game and attack on so called double standard of Election Comission.

Dear Fellow Indians.. please open your eyes and irrespective of our religion, caste, state, backgrou take a neutral view and vote for good decent accountable progressive thinking and least corrupt resprentative of people.

Frankly, as far i have seen, Congress party leaders like ManMohan Singh,Chidambaram,Rahu Gandhi,Pranab Mukherjee,SOnia Gandhi,Jr Scindia,AK Antony meet he selection criteria and my vote will be for COngress as a indian.
Don't forget that future of our country is in our hands,

Credit goes to Ambedkar
by Srihari on Apr 09, 2009 05:47 PM

All this credit goes to Ambedkar who written our Rajyamgam. given much freeness to criminals to contest in the elections and rule the country.

At least this time BJP should be decisive in all aspects, majorly on security and save country from terrorists.

Do no allow minorities to play pseudo roles in the government. If they want to be in India they should follow common civil code, otherwise they are welcome to leave country.

NDTV is anti-Hindhu and anti-BJP channel
by David Johnson on Apr 09, 2009 05:45 PM

When there was a news of protest by Sikhs against jagdish titler, Vinod Dua of NDTV was continuously unnecessary chanting, gujarat, gujarat.. and saying that BJP would have to pay for it..

When there is a news about Jagdish Titler, why the hell he is bringing gujarat/BJP into picture ?

these buggers should be thrashed with shoes..

If Godhra is scar on Indian Image; Massacre of Sikhs is Shame
by Vijay Kurhade on Apr 09, 2009 05:43 PM

If Godhra incident is scar on Indian Image; Massacre of Sikhs is shame on so called secular Image

This shows those who harp about Secularism can go to any extent of killings in name of pride

Even if Tytler, Sajjan gets ticket or boot; wont make any difference to those families who have lost dear and near ones at hands of killers of 1984.

Same is tru for Mumbai blast victims familes or any such shaeful acts in India

some trueth of congress
by ajay prasad on Apr 09, 2009 05:42 PM

One frequently hears that Rajiv Gandhi's grandfather was Pandit Nehru.
But then we all know that everyone has two grandfathers, the paternal and the maternal grandfathers.
In fact, the paternal grandfather is deemed to be the more important grandfather in most societiesWhy is it then, no where, we find Rajiv Gandhi's paternal grandfather's name?
It appears that the reason is simply this. Rajiv Gandhi's paternal grandfather was a Muslim gentleman from the Junagadh area of Gujarat.
This Muslim grocer by the name of Nawab Khan, had married a Parsi woman after converting her to Islam.
This is the source where from the myth of Rajiv being a Parsi was derived.
Rajiv's father Feroze, was Feroze Khan before he married Indira, against Kamala Nehru's wishes.Feroze's mother's family name was Ghandy, often associated with Parsis and this was changed to Gandhi, sometime before his wedding with Indira, by an affidavit.

The fact of the matter is that (and this fact can be found in many writings) Indira was very lonely. Chased out of the Shantiniketan University by Guru Dev Rabindranath himself for misdemeanor, the lonely girl was all by herself,
while father Jawahar was busy with politics, pretty women and illicit sex;
the mother was in hospital.
Feroze Khan, the grocer's son was then in England and he was quite sympathetic to Indira and soon enough she changed her religion, became a Muslim woman and married Feroze Khan in a London mosque.
Nehru was not happy; Kamala

Mr.Tytler says he is victimised
by swami pudipeddi on Apr 09, 2009 05:42 PM

It is not media hype as alleged by Mr.Tytler. It was the Nanavthi Commission which indicted the leaders and one of them is deceased? How commissions headed by sitting or retired judiciary could be wrong in indicting the people? When our laws clearly says not to punish any one even remotest doubt exists about the involvement in the crime. The policy is let a criminal be set free but not to punish an innocent person. Mr.Tytler should prove that he was not involved along with the other leaders in the riots which claimed more than 300o lives? Who were the culprits? Were they punished? Or there was none and it all happened unknowingly? Is the life of any one is nothing? is contesting the election and clinging to some office or other is important? First let the leaders know that they are to serve the people but not masters of the people. The political system should change. EC also should insist that a candidate contesting in elections should have an endorsement of at least 1/10th of the electorate of that constituency so that only serious candidates with some base among the electorate contest.
