The saffron hardliners like to present inflated percentages of the Christian and M8slim populations, evidently to create a fear psychosis among the gullible about H*ndus being swamped by such "aliens". However, it is doubtful if the BJP can make any major political gains from the targeting of C*ristians, for most Indians will tend to agree with U R Anantha Murthy, the noted man of letters of Karnataka, that the parivar is "destroying Hindu civilization”.

laughing at Imran's statements particularly "most Indians will tend to agree with U R Anantha Murthy" is being considered as abuse by Rediff.

Imran It seems Rediff is supporting you by blocking our comments. Anyway thanks for your hilarious statements particularly "most Indians will tend to agree with U R Anantha Murthy". This takes the cake by a long way
I would suggest / request Congress to withdraw its own candidate from Gandhinagar and instead support lovely Mallika Sarabhai to fight this old crap.
I am sure Mallika, with her brave and straight forward approach against Advani, can give him a taste of his own. In the short time till now, she has been doing very well to expose Advani's inefficiency or rather ignorance towards his own constituency of last 3-4 terms.
Gandhinagar people do deserve to get a fresh lovely lease of life.
Secularism was originallyb defined as "separation of church and state", because the church in Europe was interfering too much in matters of governance and it was torturing the people. The primary goal of Christianity was to loot people and torture them with the words of demons written in the unholy Bible.
If Christianity did not harass the general public in Europe, this world would not have seen the birth of Secularism.

There were no buyers in the west. Those evdevilists turned their attention to Africa and Asia and you are seeing the results. Worst hit is Africa where whites now have land and blacks have bible. It was exactly opposite before
The leader of the opposition has filed his nomination papers.A polished, well read, politically suave leader who had his education in a Jesuit School should provide the nation good leadership.Though a thorough bred RSS and Hindutva ideologist he should prove to be a visionary who can take India forward in the onward march to economic independence. He made an effort to change his image as a Hindu fundamentalist by praising Mr Mohammed Ali Jinnah during his visit to Pakistan. However, the ideology of his party is reprehensible and his political ideology is an albatross around his neck.

Well, I think neither his party ideology nor his RSS affliation would affect Christians as such as both have nothing against Christianity has as such, instead the RSS claims it is a protector of religiousity including those of the Indigenous churches in Kerala especially. The only issue that it has is the question of rigorous proselytisation undertaken by the Roman Catholic Church as well as the various Protestant denominations ensconsed in the U.S. This is possible due to big money mainly channeled from the U.S. Also the visas for religious missionaries, a relic of the British Raj was abolished rather late in 1984. The foreign missionaries currently in India are guests overstaying on tourist visas. I am sure that there are many self-conscious christians who are embarrassed over the monetary & other material inducements offered by the various churches to convert to Christianity. The churches must rather concentrate on the falling church attendance in Latin America, Western Europe & North America, which according to reliable reports is pathetic. Ultimately all the religions basically propogate one phenomenon, the Concept of a Higher Power, which we know as GOD in English, ALLAH in Arabic, BHAGWAN/EASHWAR/PARMATMA in Indian languages. In an increasingly materialist world, all religions must get together to put into the global population, a fear & respect for the SUPREME POWER, GOD. They must all work together to redeem the faith of people ..........
