indpendent india need rajajis party
by Pradip Parekh on Apr 12, 2009 01:28 AM

although mahtma gandhi's style could work in rural india, the fact is the easiest and least painful method of accelerating india's growth could come about using rajagopalachari j's idea of less govt, far far less govt, and more freedom. you don't need to look farther than the western countries where the sanatani people do exceedingly well, often to the point of being the most preosperous ethnic group. when the proof is so glaring why must india saddled with congress ideology of socialism and communism? it is about time indians had a system in conformance with their native genius, not the staganating, moribund socialism. the fact is congress has usurped india's freedom with stifling socialism that does not let good people do their best, and instead we get daily dose of the most incompetent gandhis who most likely won't get a clerk's job in a competetive society like usa.

Gandhi is completely irrelevant as far as India is concerned.
by Vishnu Sharma on Apr 09, 2009 09:08 PM  | Hide replies

We need to replace his image with that of Netaji Bose's image.

We need Maha Rana Pratap, Chatrapati Shivaji and Shri Krishna Deva Rayya to command our spirits.

We need to eject Gandhi from our hearts and minds completely.

He stands for a strange combination of pessimism, masochism, spinelessness and abdication of responsibility and ownership.

Gandhi BULLIED and HUMILIATED British and did not DEFEAT them as Americans did to get INDEPENDENCE for India.
Hence Gandhi was NOT conferred NOBLE prize.

Current State Of India
by Patriot on Apr 08, 2009 06:14 PM

Well today's state of India is a reflection of that. We have forgotten basic humanity and just one look at rediff blogs, study of our politicians will show that. But for him where would we have united? All freedom fighters were elite and never took the messages to grass roots. People like Mahatma Gandhi created a moral awareness, responsibility that we have for society among people which is what is lacking today. If someone could have scared the British Empire through Non Violence, there can one and only in this world, Mahatma. Its not worth a penny to compare one politician today to that level. Infact these politicians (Sonia, Advani, Lalloo, Mulayam, Mayawathi and others) dont have the right to utter his name even for all their terrible behaviour and talk.
