BJP - The declining fortune...
by Lenin Sahoo on Jun 21, 2009 11:29 AM  | Hide replies

From the beginning, I knew that, this BJP party is one of the worst thing happened to Indian history.

They can murder and kill people to get power!!! Who can be more heinous than the BJP who is not ashamed to killing people in riots just for the lust of power. It is also bent on dividing the nation on regional basis by supporting smaller states in different parts of India.

If it really wants to improve its popularity, then it should immediately shun RSS, and be a pan-Indian party, by taking all communities, regions, languages into its main stream.

Regards
lenin

security of india
by Ashok on Jun 18, 2009 07:28 AM

Indian security is always in danger as india is in the hands of congress govt at the center.
let me tell you.
1.Indian govt gave 2/3 of kashmir to pakistan, which in turn gave 1/3 of it to China.
2.Foolish Nehru Internationalised the kashmir issue.
3.Tibet was a part of india, Foolish nehru and krishna menon gave tibet to china in 1953.
4.Maimuna begum gave back one lakh POWS back to pakistan without even getting back indian POWS.
5.Whats more Foolish Narasimha Rao gave grants worth trillions to disentigrated Russia.

triage
by Prahlad Sutwala on Jun 17, 2009 07:08 AM

Mr. Sreenivasan has analysed correctly, and I would like to add that the weightage in the triage should be mostly to sticking to its core competence, i.e. hindutva as an ideology. What BJP has done is that it has forgotten the basic belief system that powers everyones lives and the life of the BJP also.

Triage

A triage or winning strategy alone wont bring BJP close to winning post. What it needs badly is a consistent and sustainable value based ideology backed by proper articulation and leadership. In 2004, BJP was totally confused where it stood after 6 years in power. In 2009, it appeared that confusion still prevailed.

you are 100% correct Mr.Rajeev Srinivasan. And BJP refuses to build its own base while in opposition.Few leaders spoiled BJPs chances in 2004 by aligning with bad parties.]

If 5% of the english media supports BJP, Ia m sure BJP will come back to power. And sister organisations of BJP/RSS bring down BJPs popularity in their own ruled states at the back drop of elections. This is their stupidity.BJP should talk from a position of strength but it does not.If groupism within seniors ends it is possible that BJP will bounce back to power.

BJP strategy
by Kumar on Apr 24, 2009 03:20 PM  | Hide replies

I agree completely with the authour. Another point I would like to add, though there is no remedy for it. The leadership of BJP, particularly Advaniji, is very serious about government and may not compromise on issues related to national interest. This fact keep away the small parties from BJP. In a Manmohansingh like leadership, the allies get full freedom for whatever nonsense they wanted to do (we have so many examples in the past 5 years). I think this is the main thing, not any ideology, keep away the small parties from BJP.
