it is important for justice, important for india's integrity, its decency and if it wants to survive as a credible nation. lalu is a minister, a very influential man in the cabinet and power. he must do the time, specialy when varun is not nearly as guilty. teh indian nation must not dismiss this a forgiveable rustic thing; a stern action is mandatory by all agencies that came down on varun.

The use of 'Talibanization' actually perfectly suts the present congress/UPA govt. which has declared madarassa education equivalent to higher secondary education across the country! The students with lot of efforts study through physics, chemistry, biology, maths and commerce etc. have been just put at par with the those coming from the madarassa schools after their religious education. It is nothing if some social workers attacjed the anti-national pub-goers, compared to what the congress is doing destroying the educational system by comparing higher secondary education to madarassa education only to please the minority community, dirty vote bank politics. Renuka Chaudhary should enquire with Mulla Arjun Singh what is he doing with the education system in the country? Talibanization or Indianization??

Brilliant stuff Lopesh.
Captures it all - so neatly.
In my view, the English media which possibly aids our "secular" politicians have been the spin doctors in the background conjuring up these phrases - that mislead the public.
Prannoy Roy, Barkha Dutt, Rajdeep Sardesai (yuk) and most of the self important prima donnas in the English media have a basic aversion towards things Hindu. Why so??

India happens to be one of the very few major countries in the world whose dominant media is controlled directly or indirectly by foreigners. The usurpation of control has actually been by Americans, much of it through surrogates of evangelical organisations that are in fact quasi-government agencies. in America, where liberation theology offered succour to the poor, the very same neo-fascist, American evangelical organisations, working in conjunction with the US State Department and intelligence services, ousted them. In India, most English language media outlets, are, in effect, vying with each other to accelerate the fragmentation of India in consonance with Anglo-American goals. The alleged oppression of minorities is the political bridgehead that modern evangelical organisations have entrenched in the public consciousness, relentlessly distorting its reality and using it ruthlessly to fuel discontent within India. By deliberately misrepresenting the Godhra communal riots as genocide, though both communities suffered, the media has gleefully incited Islamic terrorist attacks against Hindus and harsh international condemnation of India. As a corollary, the rise of the BJP inspired them to equate a nationalist aspirations with the oxymoron of Hindu extremism. Yet, there is resounding silence on the role of the to Islamic terrorism through vote bank politics and concealment from attention
