The average middle class person in India has a car and maybe a house. In this context, it I am incredulous about Ms. Sonia Gandhi's claim.
Anyway, what do you expect of Sonia Gandhi? She keeps claiming that her family has sacrificed lives for the country. Though I feel sad for the circumstances under which Rajiv and Indira Gandhi died, they certainly didn't sacrifice their lives.
Both fell victimes to certain political decisions they took. The only person who truly sacrificed his life - or came close to it- was Mahatma Gandhi.
I just don't believe that Sonia Gandhi is worth Rs. 1.38 crore. It is political expedient to claim that you don't have too much my way of cash or other moveable/immoveable assets.
May be the outside world views India as one of the largest democracies. And look at our elections in awe.
But as an Indian, I feel we really need to have another revolution to cleanse our system and make it a democracy for the people, by the people and of the people. As of now it is a demoracy for the polician , by the politician, of the politician.
The nomination of Ms.Sonia Gandhi as a candidate for Lok Sabha from Rae Bareli is liable to be rejected because her name does not appear in the Home Ministry records of all registered citizens of India.There is a name of one Ms.Antonia Maino, born in Luciana, Italy, who has been granted citizenship of India in 1983.But Ms.Sonia Gandhi claims, according to Lok Sabha records, as having being born in Orbassano, Italy.Moreover there is no G.O or official notification which is required, that Sonia Gandhi is the changed name of Ms.Antonia Maino.�
Moreover, Ms.Sonia Gandhi, even if she is Ms.Antonia Maino, has not submitted an official certificate from Italy Internal Affairs Department that she has formally renounced her Italian citizenship.� This is a mandatory requirement for grant of Indian citizenship.� Hence on these two counts Ms.Sonia Gandhi must produce proof of Indian citizenship at the time of scrutiny of her nomination forms.Otherwise her nomination papers must be rejected.

Hindus gave this country the best way of living. The Muslims gave the art. The Christians gave the education( English language) and railway. The Sikhs gave the bravery. How can you prosper without one or the other? Those who truly love India should leave those Muslim and Christian countries and come back to India. And whoever hates Muslims, Christians and Sikhs in India can go to Afghanistan. The Talibans are welcoming every body who hate others. Just as a million names are not there, there are thousands of extra illegal foreigner voters too. But the spotlight would naturally be people who are big shots. This is just plain realty, nothing to get educated about.

UP CM Mayabati is more qualified than Sonia. Sonia is having onli three year courses in languages. As per my knowledge Mayabati is B.A.L.L.B. and B.Ed., and probably M.A.

The root of the corruption in India is congress, and Sonia belongs to that family. Regarding castism, Mayawati has not given birth to it.Who has divided India into 6464 castes? It is not Mayawati or her party. It is congress and BJP (after Independance from the English), and before so called now Hindus and their gurus.She is only making aware the people who have been depressed on the name of caste.

Casteism isnt spread by any political party - Congress BJP whatever. It's just a vice that can belong anywhere. But now certain political parties are using it for their own selfish motives.
Sonia have Car(s) and Houses in italy and Switzerland. Here she uses Government funded lavish life styles to host Quatrochhis at taxpayers expense. What a luckiest on earth her family is. Her grand-father-in law made sure by some work as PM that whole generations will remain a ruler elite and enjoy the benefits. Wake up countryman and don't be a mute spectator to this underserving dynastic rulers.
