congress - hopeless
by diwakar sharma on Apr 06, 2009 09:14 AM

Any sensible person can not vote Congress. Congress is a party of scycophants. in Congress all the buffons are dancing and competing with each other for pleasing a lady who has nothing to do with my country.

N D T *V - the parted debate
by Sivananthalingam Kasilingam on Apr 06, 2009 09:12 AM  | Hide replies

hey guys, have you watched the midnight debate on N D T V on 04/04/09?
Mr. Sudheendra Kulkarni was mentioning a point about education loans at 4% from B J P manifesto. But the liar Sib il was denying that there is no point as such in the manifesto. Mr. Kulkarni insisted him to read the manifesto fully, the liar said that he did it! But going thru the manifesto I found this point "Study loans will be made cheaper and more accessible by fixing student loan interest at 4%.".
Even the debate organizer and the audience( mostly the sudo secularists, organized by N D T V ) supported the liar's view! Basically the debate was between 40 and just 2( Mr. Kulakrni and one audience )
What a pathetic( polarised ) role media playing, suppressing the truth and supporting liars?

NDTV is totally PRO-CONGRESS. It doesn't highlight goof-ups by other parties.Only BJP is it's target.
On 5/4/2009,in interview with Omar Abdullah,Nidhi Razdan asked about Varun Gandhi,so that Omar can call BJP names.
Why didn't she ask about POK which is still with PAK ?

I agree fully ! I saw that debate, it was indeed pathetically biased. Whenever Kulkarni would bring an allegation against the congress with facts, Sibal would mockingly laugh as if it was a joke and at once taking the cue the audience would join in, and whenever he would try to show a point regards development or progress in the manifesto, it would be delierately veered towards M@ndir.

Regards Tytler it was said that since he was nto convicted, it was not fair to accuse him, and regards Modi it was like eveidence or not he is d@mned.

When kulkarni talked about "butchering of sikhs in 1984" sibal and co pounced on him and demanded that he not use that word as it is very much inflammatry, but later on during the interview he himself talked about butchering of muslims in 2003 and nobody took offence.

The audience was also cherry picked so as to support congress, especially a guy who was in the front row (with specs) who talked as if he owned the country and he represents the masses.

N D TV sucks big time !

Congress needs a shake out!
by A V on Apr 06, 2009 09:09 AM  | Hide replies

I fully agree that atleast the Congress has an idealogy which every true Indian can associate with. Not like other parties that have communal leanings to carve out vote banks.
That said, the Congress is in deep rooted chaos due to inefficiency, corruption, etc in its ranks merely due to its long existence and taking things for granted.
Let the present Congress go down the drain this election, and let us hope that a new breed of string Congress with youth, vigour and leadership emerge soon.
Or is this just wishful thinking? :-)

Who is communal? Those who associate themselves with Muslim League and always trying newer appeasing tactics for their vote bank politics or those who are for the betterment of the majority Hindus?
Under this government if you simply say that you are a Hindu, you are branded as communal.

Congress C for Cancer that has plagued the country for over 60 years. This party has amassed wealth and sacrificed the whole future of the country. They made all programs like indira yojana, rajiv yojana and may be sonia yojana and in the future it will rahul's columbnian girl friends yojana. All these most of the funds of these yojana have ended up safely in swiss bank. God knows when India will get freedom from this dynasty...

This is one election that will herald an era of candidates getting away with all kinds of unconstitutional and illegal practices of campaigning. All parties are guilty of breaking the law and the code of conduct set by the Election Commission. Winning is everything and the correctness of the means adopted is of little importance. While agreements and disagreements, accusations, and mudslinging are part and parcel of every election, but this time around, all parties have equivocaly stepped out of the Laxman Rekha.

I am not pro-Congress, but I will say that while Udhav Thackeray tries to bring out the old skeletons of the Babri Masjid demolition out of the Congress cupboard, he is simply forgetting the Taliban style vice like grip that they have over Mumbai, which they have in the past always used mostly for show of strength for the wrong cause. While the Shiv Sena says nothing against the shocking condom and lingerie advertisements regularly shown to unsuspecting people, but it does its level best to ban screening of films and other art work for the smallest of controversial content.

The Shiv Sena's steely grip over Mumbai has always served to only dent its Metropolitan image. While I am not in favor of aping the West in terms of culture, yet I am against the double standards that Shiv Sena follows. The Shiv Sena should use its strength in Mumbai to bring the youth together for social causes that require urgent attention instead of using it to sling mud on others
