Pseudo seculars don't support real secular Mslims
by Ram Sharma on Apr 05, 2009 09:59 AM  | Hide replies

Pseudo seculars don't support real secular Mslims, like Dr Kalam (they opposed his reelection), Taslima Nasreen (she has been debarred from entering India till the elections r over) & Salman Rushdie (his Satanic verses, was banned even before it was banned in Pak or Iran).

I agree with you, on the Facts about these so called Secularists.
If Cong&Co support Seculr muslims, they cant have their way in keeping the Muslims out of mainstream and .
Muslims should not simply go by the rethoric of congress.
They should open their conscience and Look back at what has happened to them during 6o years of congress rule .
even among the muslims , they dont have co-operation.
All the Rich Muslims can start Educational Instituitions, and ask all members of their Community to get atlest Basic Education.
99% muslims are nice people, and if they are made to realise teir folly in Voting congress, it will be good for them as well as this country
Pray God it happens soon

What has happened to UPA etc?
by Ram Sharma on Apr 05, 2009 09:57 AM  | Hide replies

Almost all the parties (Left, NCP, SP, RJD, LJP, BSP etc), which were supporting Congress at sometime or other during last 5 yrs r fighting against Congress. It was the most opportunistic post poll alliance in 2004, which came into force in the name of keeping the 'communal forces' away.

Now these parties including NCP are deserting UPA, b cos they know, that congress cant form the next govt, hence everyone of these selfish power hungry party bosses are contesting seperately so that, if the Third front forms a govt , they can join and become ministers .
Its time that all intellects and moderates in both BJP and Congress decide
and jouin hands to form a National Govt, and take India to the top.
This will weed out all regional parties in one shot.
This is the only Solution for a Strong and Powerful India.

Not everything is well for NCP in Pune
by girish on Apr 05, 2009 09:34 AM  | Hide replies

Even in Pune which is very close to Baramati-the strong hold of NCP-nothing is goind well for NCP. It is public knowledge that Mr. Kalmadi the official nominee of Congress for the Loksabha election and Mr.Ajit Pawar the nephew of Mr. Sharad Pawar who is also the guardian minister of Pune have very bitter relationship. The victim of this is the common man in Pune and the Pune city itself. Considered to be one of the fasted growing city in India, Pune has lost its charm due to absolutely poor planning, poor political leadership and public administration. One hopes that the city does not grow the way it is growing due to uncontrolled rampant construction and does not follow the path of Mumbai.

NCP snaps its ties in Gujarat with Congress
by swami pudipeddi on Apr 04, 2009 11:06 PM  | Hide replies

This is a welcome decision because it allows Congress to try its luck on its own so also NCP. The arm twisting of the NCP chif by the Congress conrnered him and forced him to step out the third front's rally at Bhubaneswar which is big jolt to the eagerly waiting third front. In Maharastra also NCP should fight on its own and then join in alliance with congress if both of them can lead the state. This make the circle a full round. To come out of cases the SP extended support during the voting on nuclear deal and later repenting why it did so. The SP is at the receiving end luckily elections have come now and the trio who hiterto were looking other side of the faces of each other formed a formidable front to make the Congress further weak in the two states commanding 120 Lok Sabha memebrs.

united fight wud gv them 20% seats but separately fought elections wudnt gv them 10% seats in total.
