this is very unfortunate to oppose such a talented & highly knowledgeable personality, this further confirms that the dirty politicians don't think of our nation, but their acts are driven by cheap & less important motives.this is right time to teach such politicians a lesson by polling them out of electoral race.

I agree with your good self but he is a learned man with international exposure, gave tough fight to now UN-SG from Korea.he has the persona to lead the common man & even the common man should feel pride in finding such a personality as their able representative. this is my personal opinion.

not at all. He is just a english convent educated fellow who dont know how to respect even the national anthem. Compared to Mr. Nair of LDF, he never can support the common man of TVM. This obedient western boy should be taught a lesson by the people of TVM. I would just love to see his big defeat there...!!!

Well said.Just like his idol Nehru even he hates anything smacking of Hindu culture. Among the notable India authors o English fiction, he excluded R.K.Narayanan, who a Nobel Laureate(Naipaul) hails, saying that his books were too much about South Indian Brahmin culture. Probably he has neverread Guide whic was made into a successful movie.What can he represent in Kerala, may be christians.

Muslim voting against Congress, a rare but welcome phenomenon.Innocent Muslims should understand the double game of Congress.It just wants to pocket their votes.
If BJP has demolished Babri Masjid, what prevents Congress from rebuilding it?
We need internationally exposed educated persons like Sashi Tharoor in Parliament rather than criminal politicians, who believe in rushing to the well of the House rather than win with reasoning and arguments. Hope they get votes to win.
