Implement an Uniform Civil Code ....
by Sanjay Reddy on Apr 03, 2009 04:20 PM  | Hide replies

Mr. Sibal, either you are a dud or just trying to defend the indefensible for the Congress. The whole problem for this nation is the Article 370. If this is implemented and the Uniform Civil Code is accepted - then the whole secular problem will be addressed as all religions will be relegated to the respective households. Due to the lack of this code - every religion is coming onto the streets on the slightest provocation. This was never agreed to by the Congress as then it can never play its vote bank politics using the muslims.

Yesterday another brainless Minister- Chiddu was commenting that the entire problem is communalism - so Mr. Chiddu please implement the Uniform Civil Code and see. You wont do it because you still want to fool the Indian Public.

Congress and its spokespersons and legal luminaries should educate themselves and not fool the people.

You will be the beggar party with the begging bowl for allies after the elections as all of them will squeeze the collective baalls of the Congress.

"It is the BJP's manifesto, not that of the NDA," said Nitish Kumar, clarifying that he differed with the BJP over various issues including the construction of the Ram temple, the abrogation of Article 370 and imposition of the Common Civil Code.

Even if NDA wins, Article 370 will not be rescinded and Uniform Civil Rights will not be introduced. The Ram Temple, also will not be built. NDA was in power earlier for 6 years and did nothing. All this talk is just for votes and not for implementation.

Not again
by satyan khushoo on Apr 03, 2009 03:49 PM  | Hide replies

I have been hearing that BJP (when it comes to power) will construct Ram Temple and revoke article 370 since i was a child .. in fact BJP was founded by Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukhrjee against article 370 and he even gave his life for that... he was a gr8 man .. but now what is happening .. these issues come to their minds only during elections ..

can anyone ask that when they were in Power why they did not revoke article 370 and construct Ram Temple .. the 2 basic issues on which BJP is founded and thriving .. i think i have a reason .. if they do that then what issue do they have for future elections .. maybe no one should wear jeans or men and women should not work in same office etc etc .. they make me laugh .. but i do respect their leaders they are all good Mr. Vajpayee is one of my idols .. but these people have to grow up and stop making fool of us hindus ..

Very simple Mr. Khushoo, they were in a coalition and hence cannot implement the 2 things as their partners did not want it. So please vote and give BJP a clear mandate and these will happen without any delay.

IT IS EITHER NDA OR TOTAL CHAOS FOR INDIA.
by kedem kemorah on Apr 03, 2009 03:41 PM

In a daily changing scenario in which the UPA is breaking up into pieces and with the Third (A)front having as many PMship claimants as number of constituents, how does it matter what someone like Sushma Swaraj is saying or not saying? She is not an Oracle of Delphi nor is she Bhrigu Muni the best ever astrologer. She was foolishly trying to be too clever in trying to keep the BJP's doors open to more potential allies in the event her Party emerges the largest single party after May 16 not realizing that she has put her foot in her mouth.Everyone knows that all combines will be up for sale to the highest bidder from any Party which is the most desperate to make their leader the next PM.The real problem will start if the Third (A)front does better than expected as every constituent has a PM aspirant who will drive almost impossibly hard bargains for their support, prime most being the PM's post. This will send the country into unprecedented chaos which will worsen the present economic turmoil, worsening GDP and also the terrorism related issues from across Pakistan. This will make India lose all the momentum it has over enemies like Pakistan and China and downgrade our prestige in the international fora.Any combine that needs the Left's support to survive will prove to be extremely detrimental to India's interests even if it turns out to be a relatively stable entity. With all "secular" parties willing to do business with each other only a winning BJP will do without Left support.

Advani Weakest Home Minister ofIndia.
by skgupta on Apr 03, 2009 03:20 PM  | Hide replies

Advani was the weakest Home Minister of India. So called "Loh-Purush", who was the Home Minister and he did not know that Jaswant Singh was going to released the terrorists in KANDHAR.

Thats why Advani as a P.M. candidate will be "Kamjor Neta confused Sarkar". Kabhi Ram-Ram karte hen aur kabhi Jinnah-Jinnah karte hen.

"Apne ko Loh-purush kah kar Sardar Patel ke nam ko badnam karte hen".

BJP's manifesto promises reconstruction of Ram temple
by surendra on Apr 03, 2009 03:13 PM  | Hide replies

In previous Lok Sabha Elections, BJP also make this promise with the people, then how can people believe this time.

BJP's interest only in "Ram", not in Ram Mandir construction in Ayodhya.

BJP don't want to built Mandir in Ayodhya because if Mandir will be construct, then what will they do for votes in next election without Ram - Mandir issue.

Surendra:

Ram Mandir is NOT in NDA's agenda..... period.

By the way, wasn't "Garibi Hatao" always a Kaangress agenda?....

What happened? They don't want Garibs to become Amirs because if that happens then what will Kaangress do for votes in next election?.... :)
