While BJP is busy fighting Varun Gandhi's defence, it has a much more serious problem with Jaswant Singh flouting EC's model rule of conduct by openly bribing potential voters to favour his son. His open defiance of EC claim- ing it was his family's right to dole out money is an insult to all right thinking people. It is high time the EC disqualified his son from contesting because of this mal- practice to bring Jaswant Singh back to his senses. It is surprising LK Advani has no time to condemn this event, typical of BJP's doublespeak.

sundaram, why do not you talk about the son of Y.S.RAJASEKRA REDDY chief minister of Andhra pradesh.His son being an evengalist went to all churches in vijayawada and distributed literature about the govt scheme done by congress to christians including conversion.His son is contesting in election on congress ticket and he distributed money to many people in churches.many missionaries are now on the way to orissa from tamilnadu and kerala,andhra to work for congress by visiting tribal areas in orissa with the support of govt.if sundram is a true hindu he must not support congress but an hindu party BJP who would protect our interest.

Sundaram... I read some local Rajasthani newspapers and they shed some more light on this custom. In such remote areas, whenever visitors comes, the village folk sing songs welcoming their guests, it is a custom to reward them with money once they are done. The fact is that Jaswant was see doing this live on TV. The Congress candidate in the area TOO HAS TO DO THIS. If you really want to make a noise about somebody distributing CASH, then go to Bombay and see to what extent the Congress goes to BUY VOTERS.

I see too much of a coincidence. There was nothing wrong if he did this at a place far away from his son's election rally and on a date when no elections were taking place. It is difficult to buy his innocence when EC's model rule of conduct is in force and equally difficult to believe he was unaware of this rule in existence. His confidence was if he was caught, he will get away. This is what bugs the common man.

Sundaram... You are entitled to your opinion re. Jaswant Singh. However, I hope you read ET and today the paper has reported that in Vidharbha Maharashtra, the farmers have lost their entire soyabean crop due to drought like situation. The Congress state government has sighted Moral Code of Conduct failing to implement relief program's. BJP moved the EC for an explanation on this one, EC has come back saying that they will not stop any Humanitarian assistance and count it as a violation. Do you think that Congress is scrupulously following the code of conduct?

I dont know on what grounds are you saying that advani is anti-national. Did he say that minority has the first right on national resources...? Is it during BJP rule we lost part of kashmir to pakistan and china...? Is it under BJP rule all sort of minority appeasement is being done...?
