Will the LDF sweep the Smart City Project also from Kerala? They are going to decide the future for millions of software professionals in Kerala who wish to go back to their own land.
The landslide victory of LDF is the people's reply to the most arrogant and wicked CM Kerala Had ever seen. Ommen Chandy played the smart city game to cheat the people. But the district which would have been most beneficial from Smart city according to OOmmen Chandy, ie. Ernakulam gave the most severe blow to Chandy. Once the fort of UDF now overturned. The traditional Muslim league forts of Malppuram were crushed by LDF. The hegemony of Kunjalikkutty, Raghavan,Gauriamma,Balakrishnapillai and Jacob are over. The people taught them a good lesson. The lead of Mani in Pala reduced drastically. So all the pals of OOmmen chandy suffered the anger of people. Now without wasting time Chandy should go to W.Bengal study certain lessons from there. Don't say blunders infront of the people. Mr.Chandy...you are lucky that you have not signed smart city agreement...otherwise you would have been in the jail for selling the public property. Do something for the common man and then clamour about development.

Well said....Kerala should never learn from the other neighbouring southern state..ie TN,Karnataka and Andra..These states have really grown over the years with developments..
Let smart people in other state who wishes to develop their cities think about smart city...Guess not anyone from Kerala..

It may be true to the real spirit that Mr. Chandy was not ruling to the expectations of the people.. But seeing the general trend over a period of time what feeling i have is the people in kerala are disastrously caught in btwn the left and right combinations... Both during their ruling period are creating problems only to the people... Before election itself Mr Achutanandan has clarified that LDF govt will show how smartcity deal is to be done... The real problem is the congress leaders are not having the capability to make political advantage of issues... ie what ever they do (with good or bad intention) forms a boomerang on them only... where as the left parties do proper homework and execute their wish and project those developments more closer and advantageous to people... It is a fortune that the common man accepts the developmental activities introduced by LDF due to the firm belief that, that are not corrupt.... To my consideration they are equally corrupt as UDF...
It was very very much expected and the electrorates of Kerala as in the past took good decision in right direction to pave way for the wait-listed old man to show his mettle as a clean administrator at the age of 83. I wish him all the best to act in good direction.
THE LEFT, YOU CAN LEAD INDIA. The Left parties are leading in Kerala and West Bengal one reason is its national policy. A Left victory will increase their importance and they will be in a better position to pursue their policies. They are doing good jobs in petroleum price hike, privatisation of airports and BALCO and violation of labour laws in some states only because of UPAs violation of Common Minimum Programme. Left should agitate to bring the Women's Reservation Bill and legislation on unorganised labour. UPA has already increased petrol and diesel prices two times in two years. They are trying to increase again in huge. But no other parties are trying to oppose it. UPA is also ignoring the agrarian crisis and related problem of farmers' suicides, food security, increasing public investment in the agriculture sector. BJP is not doing their responsibilities. They were trying to increase communal violence in Vadodara and keep their vote banks. Left, do good job, every Indians with you. Go forward.
I salute Kerala voters for defeating immoral politicians and for throwing out UDF which supported maphias. Victory of LDF is an answer to those 'hi-fi development' people who always mourn in various website that communists are virus, anti-development, etc. I wish LDF first concentrate in ensuring drinking water and basic requirements of poor people, then go for industrial development.
