It is the media who pop up stories of differences between the big VS and P Vijayan.
We are really looking forward to a vibrant ministry which delivers the good.

Propaganda agaist CPI-M
by Ignatious Abraham on May 05, 2006 05:37 PM

The speculations, rumours and propanganda against CPIM-M is quite common. I consider this article By George Iype in those category. A lot have been talked about factionalism in CPI-M even in the periods of EMS. On the occassion of party conferences after every 3 years, these noises are very loud. Some Congress leaders would be dreaming that the party will split after the party conferences. But nothing happened till now. The party gained more and more strength. Some "news paper" congress leaders like Chennithala and M.M.Hassan have already came out with statements that CPI-M will split after the results. But let us see what happens on May 11. Ideological differences and debates are quite common in communist parties. The views of Pinarayi and V.S may be different, but both are still wielding the same red flags in their hands. So my appeal to the media is ..please stop these rubbishes. We can discuss about the future plans and programmes of the next government.Let us discuss the priorities of the govt. Whatever you write about the factionalism in CPI-M, nothing is going to happen to it. Definitely these kind of articles will be pleasing the issueless "news paper" congress leaders.

Let the dogs bark !
by Johnson PP on Apr 29, 2006 01:04 PM

We have only one message to people who make stories against VS and P. Vijayan - "moon will continue to shine whether the dogs bark or not". VS & Vijayan are the great leaders of a disciplined party like CPM, they may have different opinions on issues, but they always discuss together and reach to a decision acceptable to the people, especially for the poor man.

Facts Misinterpreted
by Sabari on Apr 24, 2006 05:03 PM

The article is shear one sided attempting to damage the image of the CPIM. Being a party with an ever vibrant organisation, it is natural that different opinions can arise. But CPIM sticks to the fundamental marxist principle of democratic centralisation, that is the crucial factor that decides major political decisions. The article simply tries to project the Kerala CPM being degraded to the extent of personal rivalry between the two leaders. Regarding the corruption charges framed against Pinarayi, how can you neglect the fact that he was acquitted of all the charges framed against him by the Vigilance of Kerala, in which the present Government, led by the Congress had full control. It was just to make the allegations alive during the polls that the Government referred the case to the CBI. Your reference to VS campaigning 18 hours a day, stands exactly true with Pinarayi also. It is the new attempt of the right wing media to make the impression that Pinarayi is not leading the campaign. Just watch the Kerala politics and the left campaigning closely before unleashing such false propaganda and just wait for the poll results to see how much your anti-left campaign has gone wrong.

Kerala Election
by V N Sasi Kumar on Apr 24, 2006 04:36 PM  | Hide replies

There is an old say in Kerala - When CPM wins, Achuthanandan looses and when Achuthanandan win CPM looses. This may because of the infighting between the leadership of CPM in Kerala. Inany case, if CPM is voted to power, there is no doubt Kerala will go back atleast 15 years as CPM is against any sort of development in Kerala. It is very clearly mentioned by the present CM that Achuthanandan is the anti-development hero. Achutanandan said even if he becomes the CM, he will particiapte in the strike being called by CPM and sit on dharna in front of the secreteriate. How ridiculous it is. When communism is being wiped out from throuhg-out the world, why communists are being supported in Kerala and Bengal.
Communists are the real nuisance of development in India. All educated people from Kerala goes outside the state seeking jobs. Incase communism persists, there will be no change and no industry will come to India. I don't understand why people of Kerala cannot understand this. May God help them in surviving with the marxists in God's own country

With great regards to my brother Mr.Sasi Kumar, I strongly oppose his views. If communists are pushing Kerala back, what the Congress was doing for the last five years? They did nothing for the IT sector, for idustries, for traditional industries and for the farmers. If Oommen Chandy is so keen on development, why he did not sign the smart city agreement? although he had told very enthusiastically after the court verdict that the agreement would be signed soon. The answer is simple. He knew very well that his UDF is not going to win this time. Once V.S becomes the CM, he would definitely expose the malpractises in the agreement which would be harmful for the "already duplicate"image ( built up by hardwork of manorama) of Ommen Chandy.what do you mean by deveopment? The skyscrapers, expressways and all. My dear brother, all development should start from the lower level, from the villages. The previous LDF govt.had introduced the ambitious people's planning programme which could have changed the very appeal of our villages? But who obstructed it? When V.S opposes something, you will call him anti-development. what about this case. The real hurdles for development is congress.don't blame people

Dear Ignatious Abraham,

How can the concept that "all development should
start from the lower level, from the villages" be
correct. Most of the people in villages are farmers.
Their income mostly comes from selling their
products. Now, its not possible to expand farms as
cities are growing much faster. There's also a limit
to increase production in agriculture with limited
land. So, for a farmer to prosper and have more
income, he should raise the price of his products.
Now, if he raises the price, for the non-farmers to
buy it, they should also have more income. If there
are no high-paid jobs, no great cities, no rich
entrepreneurs who will buy this costly food products.
The answer is simple... Only the poor will buy it...
Even if we think of exporting, there's not much that
we can keep aside for that, after internal
consumptions. Thus, the only way a small state like
kerala can prosper is by concentrating on industries
that require less land, less man power and which will
bring more wealth... and, that's definitely not
agriculture...

Rubbish

is rediff.com is working for UDF like malayala manorama is doing in kerala? I know all will get iritated when CPIM comes in to rule but u have to suffer us because we are coming to rule after 2-3 weeks. So dont take the issues which had done 15 years back or 10 years back; it cannot make any change in voters of kerala that they have already decided that LDF must have to rule them for next 5 years . So it is better to stop all these rubbish and start thinking with some common sense.
