people of Bihar must understand
by Shekar Srinivas on Mar 07, 2005 03:28 PM

The President's Rule is better than these nasty and corrupt Gunnda cow-herd politicians.
People in bihar must think how to compete with other states
They must realize Milkman job is not the only thing in the world.
Before giving the vote they shold decide clearly

U felt a dis-interest in RJD and anti-lallu.. Then why 75 seats were given.

Paswan did the right thing
by Ratul Dasgupta on Mar 07, 2005 01:14 PM

Mr. Paswan is doing the right thing by not pledging support to either NDA or UPA.Bihar definitely needs President's rule for some time for restoring law and order and for cleaning up the bureaucratic garbage that has accumulated over the past few years. In Bihar,BJP and RJD are just the 2 opposite sides of the same coin.

Bihar:Guv for President's rule

If Paswanji is insistent on not supporting either of RJD or NDA & as reported in papers that a large number of LJP's elected members are in favour of working with NDA then why not following be attempted: Let those members who want to work with NDA form another group (say this group has 18 out of 29 members) then 18 + 92 (NDA) = 110, balance 12 (or even more) may be sought from independents, SP; & let this combined group give a clean, forward looking, development-oriented government. That is the way to respect people's verdict to get rid of RJD's mis- governance, misrule. And, importantly, Bihar junta will start seeing changes to their lots in -employment, in road conditions, in availability of things essentially needed like vegetables grocery items kerosene oil, in more vocational & other schools, ... ,reduction in criminal activities/ corruption/ bribery, availability of govt encouraged loans (to artisans/tribal-talents for them to start building their own small artistry stalls/hutments), etc. Life of increasing more well being will be forthcoming, at the same time Paswanji & Laluji can continue with their ministerial positions at CPA ruled center. ... Is SHAME coming back? or its a newer stunt?
We are accustomed to see Congress manipulations
since 1947, umpteen number of times !
Now, of course, after a thrashing Jharkhand episode
they are cautious !
BUT SIRS ! THE DAMAGE IS ALREADY DONE!

as we know india has come a long way, since independence in getting recognition as global traders.and we are proud of it.Since the new govt is formed there had been many critical situations but the govt has managed to solve quite smoothly. today one of the main backward states in
the country are BIHAR & UP , in the past under the ruling of RJD bihar hasnt developed a bit . But this time we can expect something from president rule in bihar.as indian we all are concerned about it.

This is a good opportunity to impose Presidents rule and bring about
reforms in Bihar. The whole country will benefit from a little
improvement in the state.
